With the recent draft of Viscera to the ECW brand, don’t be surprised if you see him on television more now, as WWE has some big plans for this massively large wrestler.
WWE is going to drop his current gimmick of being “The World’s Largest Love Machine” and make him more of a One Man Gang character, which means he will be basically be a mean, bad, wrecking machine. The idea for this is to get him over as big and unstoppable in ECW, and then bring him back to RAW or SmackDown! as a monster heel that can headline main events. They recently did this with Snitsky who is scheduled to mow down undercarders for the rest of the year and feud with Cena in 2008.
Reason behind Viscera’s push is because of his massive size and unlike some of the wrestlers backstage, he doesn’t have many problems. Dave Lagana didn’t want him on the brand if he wasn’t revamped with new image because he felt the “Love Machine’ gimmick would never get over as a headliner for the company. Furthermore, Vince McMahon liked the idea of Viscera being pushed like the One Man Gang in the 80's. Plus, it's easy to convince Vince to push a monster, even it's failed a few times before, as opposed to a smaller person, even if the person has a history of past success.

Hopefully he can pick up on his mic work. Actionwise I can imagine that feud won't be very exciting but we'll see I guess

well, it could be worse than the Cena Khali feud....but that just backs up what I posted a while ago about how the WWE wants Cena to be a modern day version of Hogan, defeating all the Giants in the WWE, but that title belongs to the Undertaker who Truly has feuded with and Beaten all the Giants/Monsters in the WWE, with the exception of Umaga

This is probably because of the Benoit incident. Now before anyone starts on me, read this fully.
The focus of said incident is roid rage. Who is really fucking big without chemical help? Yup, big Vis. Then again so is Umaga, who recently had a big push, same with Kahli. They're doing this (I'm willing to bet) to show steroids aren't an issue in WWE anymore. It's pretty shallow.
As for the Benoit case, doesn't anyone else think there is something seriously wrong with the police theory on what happened? I just think something is being overlooked, but don't know what exactly.

I think your looking into it a bit much...
all in all they are trying to get the biggest wrestlers in the company sorted so eventually they can put over Cena...

You could be right. Just shocked at what I heard. I say make one of the monsters champ for a bit. I say Kahli as his mike work is just fantastic. Or at least more genuine than Cena these days...

from what I read lately 3H wants Orton to defeat Cena instead of having an 3H/Orton feud. HHH finally sees that the fans are resenting Cena not only cause he' s been champ for far too long, but he also thinks that it will be more profitable for Cena to chase the title instead of holding it.
I actually agree with 3H on this, it would be better for Cena to chase it than to hold it.

Cena! Cena! Cena! Why is it always about Cena? This topic is about Viscera. MM

And if I may jump on that valid point, Mark, I would love to see Cena squashed... ...by Vis. "Messin' " Billy

Call me crazy, but I've always liked Viscera. I named my pet lizard after him.
It died a few weeks later.

Viscera is a slightly above average big guy. He's certainly intimidating and has some lovely kicks, but I heard he's pretty stiff in the ring. if done right, the push followed by the Cena feud could work. M x
