What was the purpose of the World Championship changing twice in one night....

- The decision was made not to bring back Chris Jericho at No Mercy because the company felt it was too soon.
- Raw head writer Brian Gewirtz was in favor on Jericho appearing at No Mercy, but Vince McMahon was said to be totally against it.
- Apparently the plan was for Randy Orton to win the WWE title at No Mercy had he faced John Cena.

it was crystal clear that the fans wanted Chris Jericho back at No Mercy. WWE once again doing what they think is best. I don't know why people buy their stuff, surely they know by now that WWE will do nothing but let you down time and time again.

I don't think it was a bad thing Y2J wasn't at No Mercy...for once they're actually defying expectations and not being predictable...although a PPV is a good place to return. I hope they take this extra time to make sure they do him justice, they really bloody owe him one IMO.
Rico? Why not change the title holder twice? It looked suspicious to have a title match so early anyway but it served its purpose, it eventually gave Orton the title and I wonder if HHH is challenging Flair for title record
On one hand I hoped it'd HHH by the end of the night just because I'd love to see him take sledgie and bash the shit out of the spinner belt but maybe Orton might think of something lol

The main event last night was incredible. That was one of the better matches I have seen out of the WWE in quite sometime. And to think it was HHH's third match of the night lol
Just shows no matter how much merchandise Cena sells he just isn't up to par in ring skills as Orton or HHH.

Yeah, HHH looked to be in really good shape. He seemed faster too. For the first time in a long time, the main event actually seemed like a main event...

IMO it actually hurt 3H a tad by winning the title and losing it in the same night, now what they could have done was made it a 3 way match for the title, with some sort of a gimmick to it, but I just hated to see the title, which was already pointless while Cena held it, took another hit, but I'm not running the WWE so its stays as my opinion lol...
But all in all I'm glad that Orton didn't walk away empty handed again.....3H always finds a way to screw Orton, which he did the first part of the night, but was justified in the later part. Hopefully they will let Orton have more than a 1 month reign as champion

How did it hurt HHH? He lost it on the third match he had on the night by which was facing Orton twice and Umaga, who's supposed to be an undefeatable monster for the most part. I don't think it hurt him at all. Besides, two matches less...how else would they have filled the time without having to reorganise the whole booking?

Having the main title on the line in 3 matches in one night was a ridiculous idea. Whoever came up with it should be beaten with a switch and so should Vince for approving it. Y2J not coming back was disappointing, but he might appear at Cyber sunday or whatever it's called now. Also, having the ECW title match end by DQ again shows they really don't care about the brand at all. Perhaps it's because they see just how utterly fucking dire their version of ECW really is and have lost all hope for it. I say that's karma for pissing on Heyman's product. Just to teach them a lesson, I think both Vince and Linda should be pushed down a long flight of stairs. Hey, let's post punishment ideas for giving us nothing but shit for the last 3 years.

I think the title being on the line more than once in a night is a great idea. It sounds like a great PPV to me, and I've heard nothing but positive reviews from those who have actually watched it. Plus, Cena out is even better Jericho not returning at No Mercy wasn't a surprise at all. Way too soon. And just so you know, Raze, buddy... You're going to be involved in a GZW tournament where the title's gonna be on the line 3 times during the night Welcome to LotC

That's different, it's a tournament. There was no excuse for WWE doing it. It wasn't to build anything up, it was simply because many roster members are suspended and they didn't have enough to fill the card.

why isn't it buildin' anythin' up...I mean I don't watch the product but from readin' it it sets up viable feuds since many rosters members are suspended...plus it builds upon Orton's sneaky type heel...puttin' him over as a credible heel champ...besides isn't it better than simply hotshottin' the title straight to Orton via a three way...
