Negotiations have apparently been halted with the rumored signing of 2004 Lord of the Coliseum “Lone Gunman” John Taylor participating in GroundZero Wrestling 2K1’s end year pay-per-view, Aftermath2K8. There had been heavy talks that Lord Taylor was to be taking the spot of 2005 Lord of the Coliseum Seth Raide in the Battle of the Lords match against 2007 Lord of the Coliseum Leon Corbin.
Talk now is that Ring of Honor Icon “Smooth Operator” Billy Bond is being courted out of retirement for one night as a suitable replacement for the slot. It should be mentioned that Icon Bond has been inactive for nearly two years.
