Only days before GroundZero Wrestling 2K1’s grandest pay-per-view event, Aftermath2K8, the match between Lords of the Coliseum has not been finalized. Although 2005 Lord of the Coliseum Seth Raide has recently appeared upon Ground Zero Global Network expressing his discontent with 2007 Lord of the Coliseum Leon Corbin it is still believed that Lord Raide has not signed the contract to make the match official.
With no other active Lords of the Coliseum available, the Command Suite is strongly considering having Lord Corbin face a possibly returning to the ring former World Heavyweight Champion John Champa. In the past several days Champa has been seen exiting the GZW2K1 Command Suite in possibly conjunction with meetings with President Seth Richards.
Word is that Rupert Martin and 2008 Lord of the Coliseum Ring of Honor Icon Sean Fiery are engaged in a real life feud involving Lord Icon Fiery’s wife, Stephanie and the suspected pregnancy of the couple. Rumors circulating backstage are that Martin and Steph have been “secretly” seeing each other for the past four months and it has come to light that Steph is two months pregnant. On several occasions during numerous broadcasts Martin and Lord Icon Fiery have been physically restrained.
It is to be believed that Lord Corbin and Vernon Vanderbilt had a considerable well Christmas holiday as the two were seen entering the new home of Vanderbilt in Athens, Georgia late one night in the past few days. The former lovers are said to be reconciling and looking to begin anew post Aftermath2K8.
