News coming out of the GroundZero Wrestling 2K1 Command Suite is that 2008 Lord of the Coliseum Ring of Honor Icon Sean Fiery has been suspended due to his actions at Sunday Storm’s latest broadcast. Lord Icon Fiery walked out of the main event tag match halfway through leaving GZW2K1 World Heavyweight Champion Rupert Martin to fend for himself against the duo of Eva Hikari and former GZW2K1 World Heavyweight Champion Vernon Vanderbilt. Officials were amazed at Lord Icon Fiery’s premature departure and have stated they have no word on his reasoning.
The supposed rumor that circulated last month concerning Seth Richards’ removal from his presidency of GZW2K1 has been proven false. Hong Kong Wrestling Federation President and GZW2K1 minority stock owner John Profit addressed and confirmed President Richards’ stay during the annual stockholders meeting in Seattle, Washington this past week.
With PLOW’s “sudden” venture into the commercial side of the wrestling business via Bayou Championship Wrestling ears have been perked throughout Ground Zero Global. Unnamed sources have stated that GZG Chairman Cedric Southern is keeping a watchful eye on the sudden impetus of this wrestling organization. Chairman Southern has authorized several Globalstars from GZG federations permission to fill out the inaugural roster. Whether this be as a good faith gift or to have several Globalstars planted within the BCW remains in question.
