It has been confirmed that Globalstar SpYral and GroundZero Wrestling 2K1 have parted ways. Earlier today a press release went out stating that The Pokerface, currently the GZW2K1 Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion, has been released from his contract due to failure to perform. No official word has been obtained from SpYral concerning the matter.
The Executive Committee has scheduled a press conference for Wednesday February 25th in order to address the release as well as the status of the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship. SpYral was set to defend the title against Tommy Casper at Anniversary Armageddon 2009.
