Rob let me get this straight, you don't want the title on the Miz, but you want it on Matt Hardy? are you fucking kiddin me. I'm not a Miz fan, but he's farrrrrrrrrrrr better than Matt Hardy on the mic and in the ring.
I see him winning the Title within the next month or two, of course they had to get the U.S. title off him, though it probably would have made him bigger if he was able to hold on to the U.S. title and win the World/WWE Championship, cause its not like they really care for the U.S. title anyway.

I have never rated the Miz. He came in as a wrestler being utterly fucking dire in every way possible, then was CARRIED by Morrison. Now, I say he's middling at best. You say Hardy doesn't deserve it, but when was the last time he actually had a chance? He was underutilised and underrated for YEARS. I just don't want Miz adding to a long list of mediocre World champs and the way I see it, that is what he would be. If Matt turned out to be the same, it'd be disappointing, but at least we'd have found out where his limits lie. Kind of a moot point now though.

the past few years Matt has been sloppy in the ring, and IMO he's just not that good. He was carried by his brother Jeff, Jeff was always the better of the two. Remember when Matt returned he lived off that stupid "i will not die" catchphrase, and was carried in that feud by Edge. The Miz on the other hand, while I may not like him, he's great at drawing heat, and he's a great heel on the Mic.

Sloppy? If I was treated like shit at work by my bosses, I'd stop trying too. Jeff, while I like him, got the opportunities because he was a spot monkey. I mean Jeff isn't great on the mic either, is he? As for the Edge feud, the fact Matt was ever IN that shows the blatant disrespect he was taking by the management. Matt isn't the best there is, but he's better than many who have been given the chance and you know it.

Name them? Kahli, yea i'll give you that, but who else that has been given a chance that Matt is better than....Rey, Kane, Swagger, I don't think so.

You're putting Rey up there? Seriously, after his crap run? How about Batista when he was a babyface? He was as boring as fuck and botched quite a bit. Good thing you mentioned Khali, I forgot about him. I'm tempted to say Cena, even if he is good on the mic and purely because of how he is in the ring. I can hold up my right hand and say with all honestly that I have seen rookies do better in the ring than he does as a pro, both on TV and in person. And it's not just people who GOT the title, but ones who were put in the chase (as I said, given the opportunity). Are you gonna be lazy in your argument and ask me to name those ones as well?

Rey.....Rey is head and shoulders above Matt Hardy, Batista, though his mic skills were terrible, he's still a better performer than Matt, Cena......not sure which way to argue this one, seeing as I can't stand the guy, but he's still a better draw than Matt.
Shaemus is better than Matt, of course you can't compare Matt to Taker, HBK, HHH, Orton or Jericho, or even Edge. But as for those who were put in the chase, the only one I can think of that was as bad as Matt in the ring is Mark Henry, other than that I mean you had CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, MVP all who are better performers in the ring than Matt, so Im not sure what you're getting at Rob....

Mark Henry was indeed terrible. I think I have found a way to sum it up better. Remember when Raven was in WWE? Management didn't like him too much either and suddenly he put in less and less effort until he was released or quit. Similar story with Hardy. Almost the same, really.
"of course you can't compare Matt to Taker, HBK, HHH, Orton or Jericho, or even Edge."
Got me there. I wont deny that.
