There was an incident involving WWE Diva Rosa Mendes — real name Milena Roucka — at the San Antonio International Airport in the last 24 hours, but not the rumor that has been making the rounds. False rumors have been circulating this afternoon that Mendes was arrested after coming off a flight that landed in San Antonio, the site of tonight's Monday Night Raw taping. However, a representative for the San Antonio Police Department tells us that Rosa was not arrested, rather she was the victim of a crime. In a phone call to Diva Dirt, an officer for the SAPD confirms that Rosa was the victim of an assault in Las Vegas prior to flying out to San Antonio for tonight's taping. The report states that after landing in San Antonio, Rosa was spotted visibly upset in a public bathroom at the San Antonio International Airport. A concerned female passerby called the police on her behalf. Pictures of her injuries were taken by the SAPD, according to the report, and she was given courtesy transportation to her hotel in SanAntonio. The officer reiterates that there is no mention of thealleged arrest for intoxication in the report. UPDATE: TMZ has reported more details on the incident, reporting that the suspect in the assault is Mendes' fiance, former WWE star Jackson Andrews. You can read that report here.

Grantland.com has published a lengthy article on the life and controversial wrestling career of Kevin Nash, who has begun to gain traction in Hollywood. A notable point in the article has the six-time world champion reiterating his stance on "Vanilla Midgets," a dismissive term he used as booker in the late '90s in World Championship Wrestling to describe small-statured, gifted technical wrestlers who didn't project larger than life personalities but were beloved by fans, such as Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero and Dean Malenko. "Big Sexy" feels the professional wrestling industry died in 2004 at WrestleMania XX when WWE's "Super Bowl" concluded with the image of the under six-foot-tall grapplers reigning supreme as champions and emotionally celebrating. Even though the two wrestlers are now deceased, he still believes they never belonged in the main event scene due to their small stature. "When Benoit and Guerrero hugged [at the end of WrestleMania XX], that was the end of the business," Nash says. "Has business been the same since that WrestleMania? Has it come close to the Austin era? Has it come close to the nWo or the Hogan era? You put two fucking guys that were great workers that were the same height as the fucking referees, and I'm sorry, man. Are you going to watch a porno movie with a guy with a three-inch dick? Even if you're not gay, you will not watch a porno movie with a guy with a three-inch dick. That's not the standard in porno films. So you put a 5-foot-7 guy as your world champion." Nash has the same problem with today's "Internet heroes," CM Punk and Daniel Bryan. "They are not bigger than life," he says. "I bet they could both walk through airports and not be noticed unless they have a gimmick shirt on and the belt." Nash also discussed how The Kliq shifted financial compensation in the wrestlers' favor, how his 1995 heel turn inspired the "Attitude Era" and the subsequent ascent of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, cursing out Tom Cruise's makeup artist on the set of Rock of Ages and more. The full article is available here. source rajah.com here is the link for the full article www.grantland.com/story/_/id/8241536/wrestling-star-kevin-nash-making-headway-hollywood-keeps-nightNow, I completely disagree with Nash that Wrestling Died when Benoit and Guerrero became Champions. Wrestling Died when he and Hogan became bookers lol

Maybe he's jealous because Benoit and Guerrero could out wrestle both of them

A paper bag full of dog poo could out wrestle Kevin Nash.
Unlike HBK and Razor (and to a lesser extent Triple H) his role in the politicking can never be forgiven because he and Waltman never backed it up in the ring

Grantland.com published a lengthy article Tuesday on the life and controversial wrestling career of Kevin Nash with the six-time world champion notably reiterating his stance on "Vanilla Midgets," a dismissive term he used behind-the-scenes in the late '90s in World Championship Wrestling to describe small-statured, gifted technical wrestlers such as Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero. Nash said the professional wrestling industry died at WrestleMania XX when the pay-per-view event concluded with Benoit and Guerrero—both of whom were under six-feet-tall—reigning atop as world champions and emotionally celebrating. Chris Jericho, who worked his way up the wrestling ranks alongside Benoit and Guerrero, publicly took offense to Nash's remarks and responded with another commonly used stance.
He tweeted late Tuesday evening, "Funny how @realkevinnash says wrestling “died” when Benoit and Guerrero were champs-Yet the worst year for WWE biz was 95 when he was on top."
The oft-used point originated from Wrestling Observer editor Dave Meltzer, who has repeated stated over the years that WWE had its worst financial period in company history in 1995 when Nash held the WWF Championship as Diesel.
Nash responded to Jericho's tweet minutes later, writing, "Once again the puppet master pulls the marks strings .Knew Jericho was a closet mark.First one eliminated on a bulls--t sing show...REALLY!!" Nash's last insult is in reference to Jericho being the first contestant to be eliminated in the 2006 Fox Television singing reality show Celebrity Duets.
Jericho quickly shot back, "Hope @realkevinnash doesn’t tear his quad tweeting! #typicalbigman #nwothirdwheel."
Nash's interview comments triggering Jericho's rebuttal were: "When Benoit and Guerrero hugged [at the end of WrestleMania XX], that was the end of the business. Has business been the same since that WrestleMania? Has it come close to the Austin era? Has it come close to the nWo or the Hogan era? You put two fucking guys that were great workers that were the same height as the fucking referees, and I'm sorry, man. Are you going to watch a porno movie with a guy with a three-inch dick? Even if you're not gay, you will not watch a porno movie with a guy with a three-inch dick. That's not the standard in porno films. So you put a 5-foot-7 guy as your world champion."

Jericho's comment about he hopes Nash doesn't tear a quad tweeting was hilarious.

Epic!
Second only to Punk's "Hey look everyone, the Kliq's back. And it's kind of ironic because "kliq" is the noise all the audience's TV remotes make when Kevin Nash comes on screen"
My reply on Nash's twitter:
"I'd rather watch a wrestler who can't sing wrestle than a wrestler who can't wrestle wrestle."

Nash was only put in his spot because of his size. There aren't many people between that 6'9"-7'3" range that can wrestle with smaller guys, Undertaker is the only one that sticks out, but even Sid was better than Nash.

What I took from all of this is how shit Nash's website is. And that got me remembering how shit the websites are of many other wrestlers. That got me wondering: "Who the fuck do they hire?" So I check the bit at the bottom of all websites where it has a link back to the designer's portfolio.
I am going to have to figure out how to reach out to these wrestlers and offer to make better websites for them. My best friend is friend's with the webmaster for The Honk Tonk Man and the Ultimate Warrior but I'd feel a bit sneaky asking him how he went about it.

TMZ.com passed this along: www.tmz.com/2...en-rosa-mendes/Andy Slocum's week has gone from bad to worse ... 'cause AFTER the former WWE talent was accused of beating his fiancee Rosa Mendes in Vegas ...his OTHER fiancee in Texas dumped his two-timing ass ... TMZ has learned. We broke the story ... Slocum -- who wrestled under the name Jackson Andrews -- was named in a police report filed by Mendes, in which she claims Slocum beat her up on multiple occasions in the home they shared together in Vegas. But the story REALLY came as a shock to a woman named Amber Stovall ... who thought she was EXCLUSIVELY engaged to Slocum ... who she had been dating for the past 4-and-a-half years. "I was not aware of his double life with Rosa," Amber tells us ... adding, "I'm incredibly angry and I feel betrayed." Amber -- who says the two shared a home in Houston and have two bulldogs -- tells us, "I was blindsided by the TMZ story. He had just flown me out to Vegas the weekend after July 4th and we made plans for him to return home to Houston at the end of August. " For the record, Rosa -- who's a WWE Diva -- was in Texas on the weekend after July 4th ... when he flew Amber to Vegas. Basically, he pulled off a fiancee switcheroo. Despite the lies, Amber insists Slocum was never violent with her ... telling us, "He's never even raised his voice to me." Obviously, Amber has since called off the engagement ... noting, "He has not reached out to me despite my efforts to contact him since I found out about Rosa. So as of today, I have cut off all joint accounts which includes his cell phone." Multiple calls to Andrews have not been returned ... and maybe now we know why.

- For the past ten years, video content from WWE's "Attitude Era" (1998–2002) has been edited due to a lawsuit with the World Wildlife Fund over the WWF initials. All WWF "scratch" logos and references to the initials had to be blurred or edited out. This directive has now changed, at least in part. In regards to the former "scratch" logo appearing unaltered in video packages in recent weeks, use of the symbol in flashback sequences is permitted after the organization's legal proceedings with the World Wildlife Fund were settled in the last quarter. However, it is unclear whether the permission extends to complete matches and other archival footage.
Meanwhile, WWE.com published a photo gallery Tuesday chronicling the long line of Presidents, Commissioners and General Managers that have ruled over sports-entertainment and a shot of Mick Foley donning a T-shirt with the WWF "scratch" logo on display is shown.

All World Promotions is no more. WWE announced Friday night the release of Abraham Washington (A.W.).
"WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar A.W. as of today, August 10, 2012. WWE wishes A.W. the best in all his future endeavors," reads WWE's statement.
WWE did not say whether A.W.'s termination was due to a rape joke about Kobe Bryant on WWE Raw two weeks ago. However, TMZ reported following WWE's announcement that A.W. was fired due to the rape joke.
A.W. subsequently spoke out about his release, claiming WWE "turned its back" on him after he apologized for the rape joke and remained on WWE TV.
"It was the #WWE that made me bold and now it has turned it's back on me," A.W. said. "Just be normal shut up and be a yes man so you can collect your check and feel like your special. #SELLOUTS!! I remember a time when the WWE didn't care about breaking the mold but now everyone is so afraid of their own shadow. #RemeberTheFans. Thank you WWE for creating me and then killing me because I only portrayed what I grew up watching... The #WWE!!"
The timing of A.W.'s release is noteworthy, as he appears on Friday night's Smackdown episode, which was taped Tuesday, and his Prime Time Players "clients" become #1 contenders to the Tag Titles on the show.

A.W. has continued to lambast WWE via Twitter after his contract was terminated Friday for what a company spokesman says was due to his continued use of offensive and inappropriate comments on live television and on social media after making a rape joke on the July 30 episode of Raw.
The boisterous personality strongly feels his firing is unfair and that he is being subject to double standards by WWE, pointing out other offensive events where an employee was suspended at most. He wrote, "If I smoked crack or did steroids I'd get suspended but I made a joke and tweeted support Linda and I get fired. #Doesn'tAddUp #Hmmmmm."
A.W. posted several fan remarks noting WWE's double standards towards offensive and inappropriate comments, including Tensai making stereotypical remarks about Japanese people last week on Tout, John Cena cracking homophobic insults on WWE programming, Randy Orton suggesting during a radio interview that Kelly Kelly had sexual relations with upwards of ten WWE Superstars, and Cena and Jerry "The King" Lawler hurling weight-related barbs toward Vickie Guerrero.
"They didn't do shit to Randy Orton when he called Kelly Kelly a slut, you see the double standard? Fuck politics. #AWForLife."
"Im a HUGE Cena fan, but Cena made fat jokes w/ King, genitalia jokes n homo jokes. Orton bashes K2, Vince mocks JR! #FuckUWWE"
"so stealing a car, having a yng girl trying to fuck 3 guys at once and not to mntion the Tensai thing is ok, but no jokes? #BS"
A.W. continued to point out the hypocrisy in Vince McMahon mocking Jim Ross' affliction with Bell's palsy while simultaneously promoting the 'be a STAR' anti-bullying campaign; on the June 11 episode of Raw, the WWE Chairman donned a J.R.-style hat, mimicked Ross' facial paralysis and yelled, "Stone Cold! Stone Cold! Stone Cold!" He re-tweeted, "So Vince can continually bash @jrsbbq by teasing his ball palsy but yet your comments where deemed worse? Be a star my ass." He then posted a photo of McMahon distorting his face to ridicule Ross, with the caption reading "MOCKING JR: QUALITY PG ENTERTAINMENT."
A.W. also pointed out McMahon using a racial slur on WWE programming in 2006, and enclosed a link to footage of the segment. He noted via re-tweet, "VINCE MCMAHON CAN SAY THE "N" WORD ON NATIONAL T.V. BUT @awpromotions CAN'T TELL A JOKE.............whats wrong with this picture???"
A.W. also feels it's hypocritical that WWE would celebrate boxer Mike Tyson, who was convicted of rape in 1992 and sentenced to six years in prison. He re-tweeted, "You said one Kobe Bryant rape joke and you got fired. Isn't Mike Tyson a convicted rapist? Yet he is in the HoF. Hypocrisy." He then posted side-by-side images of himself and Tyson, with the caption over his photo reading "FIRED FROM WWE OVER RAPE JOKE" and a caption over the Tyson photo reading "CONVICTED RAPIST - WWE HALL OF FAMER."
A.W. plans to continue to "shoot" as he has set up a second Twitter account under his real name, Brian Jossie, at BJRatedR. He noted on the account, "Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to my fucking non PG world!!! Where all bets are off and I tell it like it is. Fuck the Bull Shit, I'm legit!"
source Rajah.com
A.W. does have a point, apparently its ok for other people, the bigger stars, to do that type of stuff, but not the lesser talents. John Cena frequently uses homophobic jokes, even Big Show made a joke about the Koby Bryant thing once and nothing happened to them. This company is a bully, if you make them money they are fine with everything you do and say. This stuff is crazy
