With the GroundZero Wrestling 2K1 Summer Heat Tour set to begin less than a month away, there has been increased discussion amongst the GZW2K1 Executive Committee that this year's annual pay-per-view, Heatwave, could mark its final broadcast from the Land of the Extreme, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Sources are unsure who has been behind this campaign but it is clear that this push has considerably high backing and is being taken very serious.
Heatwave is set to mark it's tenth celebration on June 30th, 2013 live from the Kowloon Park in Kowloon, Hong Kong.

It can be officially confirmed that the main event for Heatwave X will be the GZW2K1 World Heavyweight Championship rematch between 2007 Lord of the Coliseum Leon Corbin and, as of press time, World Heavyweight Champion Raze. The two Globalstars had their first meeting for the title at the Special Broadcast Event: This Means War! in a highly celebrated encounter in which Raze emerged as the victor and still World Heavyweight Champion.
A live contract signing between Lord Corbin and Raze has been scheduled to take place at Saturday Storm on 18 May 2013.

United Japan Wrestling SuperHeavyweight Champion Tommy Casper acknowledged recent talks with GZW2K1 (before he won UJW's highest championship) about potentially returning to the company in an exclusive interview on the May 6th GZWTorch Livecast, and said why opted not to pursue a relationship with GZW2K1.
"They [GZW2K1] talked to me about becoming a Trouble Traxx trainer and training the new guys and not really traveling on the road or being on television," Casper told GZWTorch columnist Neill McPatrick.
"We never really got to the point where we talked money and all that. We just kind of taled about it. I felt I still have a lot left in my tank to be a Globalstar. I still like to wrestle and travel. I'm not ready to start coaching yet."
FYI: Casper defends the UJW SuperHeavyweight Title against William Grand, who Casper said on the Livecast he has never wrestled before one-on-one, Saturday night in Houston, Texas at the Southern Wrestling Alliance's "Parade of Champions: Paul Boesch Memorial Show." Also on the card is an Hong Kong Wrestling Federation World Tag Team Title versus UJW Tag Team Title match. More details here at SWAHouston.com.
