There have been whispers in the night that all interest in promoting ex-GroundZero Wrestling 2K1 World Heavyweight Champion, Raze, in the hunt for the World title is gone. Although the Dread King is scheduled to receive his obligatory rematch at the Special Broadcast Event: Honor Reclaimed at the end of August, it is rumoured that there will be no plans afterward for any kind of push. If this is to be believed it is clear that Lord Leon Corbin will retain the World Championship in their rematch.
Editor's analysis: Though none of the information can be substantiated it is clear that the push Raze was enjoying has seemed to cool off considerably. The buildup to the rematch between Raze and Lord Corbin at SBE: HR is basically nonexistent, the idea of Raze rallying the faces into Defiance has been replaced with Lord Corbin, and the general mistrust of Raze by nearly everyone in the company supports that GZW2K1 is getting out of the Raze business.
