Leaned up against a wall dressed in blue jeans and a green GZW2k1 promotional shirt is the current GZW2k1 IC Champion Alex Cross. A bandage covers his forehead and a pair of shades shield his eyes from the camera making it difficult to see where he's looking. As he speaks his voice comes off a bit more grittier than usual, perhaps from the sudden changes in temperature or affects lingering from his match with Icon Lord Corbin.
It's nice to see you're back up and moving around Leon. After what happened at the tale end of our match it's a wonder either one of us is still able to appear in front of a camera or climb into a ring. And yet in just a few short days you and I will do it all again though in a much different setting of course.
Before our match you made mention of how no one walks out of a Crimson Chamber match unscathed. How no man ever forgets what they went through once they competed inside that steel hell. Leon I remember sitting quietly watching your Crimson Chamber match against Nathan Williams and Tommy Casper. I remember watching the bloodshed and the carnage that all three of you went through for that World Title and I remember thinking only crazy people would get involved in matches like that. Now having been inside one and lived to talk about it I know that while crazy people may walk into that cage, animals come out. You see Leon, if you can survive that match. If you can survive that torment and hell you can survive anything that gets thrown at you. Like it or not Leon I survived that match. I proved to you, those fans, and to myself that I not only belong in the main event but I deserve to be in the main event.
I won't make this long and drawn out Leon but I will say this before I go. In a couple of days it's you and your wife against Jericho Cross and I in a tag match. No titles, no stipulations, just a straight up two on two match. Regardless Leon I know it's nothing more than a warm-up for our match at Aftermath. So be prepared Leon because I'm bringing my all then, and at Aftermath. My time is now whether you like it or not.
He pushes himself off the wall and walks away.
