Marcellus: Welcome back, y'all! Now, how long has it been since we've done this?! It doesn't matter because here we are tonight, you the listeners, me and my special guest. Tonight, that guest is a man who has sat in that chair once before. A former TroubleTrax champion and supposedly...er...dead? Man! Welcome back to the MJ Show, Stephon Davis!!
Stephon: Thanks for having me back.
Marcellus: Always a pleasure having the nice GZW folk on here! So, much has happened since we last spoke, huh? For the benefit of those living under rocks, give us all a run down.
Stephon: Wow...uh, let's see...I was engaged in a pretty nasty feud with Chris Cairns that ended up draggin' my Dad into the mix. I've been verbally and physically beat down on numerous occasions by my former trainer and it kind of ended at Heatwave last year when Cairns buried me and my Dad in a grave.
Marcellus: Now that's something the internet has been going over and over. Were you really buried? And did Cairns really pee on you guys? How cold was the water in London? And did you contract any diseases from the Thames?
Stephon: Yes we were really buried. Pretty deep too. Deep enough not to know whether or not if Cairns did pee on the grave or not. But knowing the kind of dude he is he probably did.
Slight coughing is heard.
Stephon: Excuse me. Yes the water was extremely cold and as far as I know of I don't think I caught anythin'. Fingers crossed I didn't.
Marcellus: Apparently dysentery is a popular one. So how do you feel about SIR Chris Cairns and his antics? How has it affected your family, seeing as it involved both you and your father?
Stephon: I think Cairns is full of crap and I only use the word crap because my parents, especially my Mom, is probably listenin' to the show. This "thing" with Cairns has gotten very personal where it has brought my Dad in and most recently Cairns has been sayin' comments about my Mom. I can take everythin' he has been doin' but when he commented about my Mom he has definitely taken things out of bounds.
Marcellus: FOOOUUURR!!!
There's a clearing of the throat.
Marcellus: Sorry. So what has really brought this about? Why has Cairns singled you out and is it anything to do with him being a former trainer of yours?
Stephon: Honestly I have no idea. For a while I thought it was Cairns just bein' delusional Cairns. I mean this is the same dude that beefed with Vitamin G over a chicken sandwich! But then I was thinkin' it may have to do with the long-time issues he's always had with my Dad when he thought Vice-President Devotion Profit-Lord and Dad were an item.
Marcellus: Oooh! So you think he still holds a torch for Mrs Profit-Lord? If that's the case, why hasn't he flown his a-butt over to Hong Kong to bury Mychael Lord?
Stephon: Your guess is as good as mine, Mister Jackson. I don't really care to think about the reasons Cairns does what he does. I just know that each and every time I get my hands on him he's goin' to regret all the things he has done to me and mine.
Marcellus: Indeed, now y'all got your match at Anniversary Armageddon, albeit a tag match. How well do you know your partner Tamer? And do you anticipate anything from Cairns going into this match?
Stephon: I've only just recently run into Tamer backstage at Friday Night Fierce. When he had his previous runs in GZW2K1 I was down in the Trax so I never got to meet him. But he's a ring vet that I'm sure is more than able to handle his own in our match unlike Cairns who will probably hide behind his partner Red Dragon the whole time because that's what cowards do.
Marcellus: And also behind that sceptre of his. How do you plan on avoiding that thing?
Stephon: By bombing first which will hopefully prevent him from usin' that thing on me again.
Marcellus: Bombing?
Stephon: It's a term we used playin' football meanin' to strike first and hard before your competition could. It's actually taken from a Tupac Shakur song.
Marcellus: Man, and I thought I was down with the kids. Back when I played we used t-ach, so anyway. Gotta be said though that he has Red Dragon in his corner. A man who has been in the company over a number of years but yet to really make his impact. What if Cairns gets in his ear in some way? Dragon may not have much a winning streak right now but that doesn't make him any less dangerous.
Stephon: I'm ready for Red Dragon just like I'm sure Tamer is and no disrespect to Red Dragon and his abilities but I've strictly got my eyes on Cairns.
Marcellus: Would that be wise? What if that is in their game plan?
Stephon: If Tamer is focused on Red Dragon and I'm focused on Cairns then I'm not sure how unwise that could be. I'm makin' my intentions clear that I want Cairns. If Red Dragon is standin' on the other side of the ring I have no problem gettin' down with him but I'm goin' after Cairns.
Marcellus: You know I have to ask those questions before the internet makes up their own minds! But hey, where does Stephon Davis go from here? Once you get Cairns out of your system, you have any other plans for the future?
Stephon: I just want to be the best Globalstar I can be to not only to myself but to all of the great fans in the Globalverse.
Marcellus: Come on now. That's the safe answer. People want the juicy stuff!! Eyes on any titles? Any matches?
Stephon: That's just the truth, Mister Jackson. It'll be cool to hold some titles but it's definitely not my reason to be in this sport.
Marcellus: Well, I still think it's a safe answer but alright. Now, when you're not thinking about beating Cairns with his own sceptre, what do you think about the current affairs in GZW? Thoughts?
Stephon: Which ones exactly?
Marcellus: Any and all, Stephon!
Stephon: Well there is a lot goin' on with Warpath and their individual feuds to the battle of the lady of the Coliseums to the blood feud between Alex Cross and Lord Leon Corbin.
Marcellus: But what are your thoughts on all this drama?!
Stephon: Business as usual, really.
Marcellus: Come now, surely you flew all this way for more than that! Your fans need to know!!
Stephon: I'm definitely hyped for the big main event. Right now Alex Cross and Icon Lord Corbin are the pinnacle. I can't wait to see these two great Globalstars go at it again.
Marcellus: And what about this new stable Warpath?
Stephon: Nothin' is tighter than family. I definitely don't want to cross their path if I can help it.
Marcellus: Guys like that don't usually wait for you to cross their paths. What would you do if it ever came to pass? Would you have the means to take them on?
Stephon: I actually am lookin' forward to facin' off against them one day. A lot like my father I've vowed to defend GZW2K1 from enemies from within and without.
Marcellus: Then why haven't you teamed with Kolic when he was doing that very thing?
Stephon: I think Kolic has just recently started with them since it was only recently they formed together. I think when Kolic was just beefin' with Mongrel I was still down at the Trax.
Marcellus: That's fair enough. So, many people have been getting in touch and one of the main reasons is about your father. How is guy doing? Is he still commissioner? Is there a reason he has taken to staying off camera? Some think because of that lack of presence, it's having an effect out there. Do you agree?
Stephon: Dad is doin' good. Bein' buried alive will keep you off screen for a while, but yes, he's still Commissioner.
The sound of Stephon clearing his throat is heard.
Stephon: I think there has been a lack of balance in GZW2K1 for a while when it comes to good versus bad. I mean, that always seems to be the nature of the beast but most recently it does seems as if the bad guys have had all the overwhelmin' strength.
Marcellus: I have to agree. I have wondered where all the good guys are!
Stephon: Oh we're here, Mister Jackson. Slowly but surely there will be more to come.
