The hot desert of Death Valley in California is the scene.Many tanks plow through the sand leaving deep tracks.Several soldiers in full gear and armed with M16s run about shouting and screaming orders.From a tent,which is covered by a camoflauge net,walks out a a soldier.From his rank on his lapel he seems to be an officer.
The man pulls out some binoculars and looks into the distance.A young soldier comes out the tent,cellphone in hand.
young soldier:
Sir,urgent phone call from the rear.
The officer puts the binoculars down and takes the cell from the younger soldier.
officer:
WWIII here.(pause)That's not a problem.I can be in Atlanta within the next 12 hours.(pause)It won't be a problem,Covenant.Lost Boy,rather Monarch,has this coming to him.(pause)I'll see you there.
WWIII clicks the phone off and places it into his pocket.He smiles as thoughts of meeting up with Monarch once again rush his mind.
