Firefly, in a tasteless suit, is sat at the GZW HQ reception, and a member of staff comes up to him with an envelope. Firefly thanks him, and asks a question, to which he gets a shrug. Firefly opens up the envelope, and reads with a serious look on his face. After reading, he looks upset and confused. He rushes off quickly, dropping the letter by accident as he leaves. The camera pans forward, and a small, delicate hand picks up the letter.
Dear FireFly,
After months of seeking funding, we are pleased to announce that the Nightfall Organisation has finally been officially formed. The groups aim is to deal with those things which others refuse to acknowledge, the mysterious, the arcane, those that wait in the shadows. We wait, we watch, and when called upon we act, to make sure that the world is kept safe from fortean forces and that 'Night' does not fall.
Your name has been put forward for membership by one of our number, Alexander Monkson who will be leading the investigation into what looks to be our first official case.
We have been approached by an aide to Geoffrey Hoon, Secretary of State for Defence, in relation to a most strange finding which was made at the home of one Omid Barakat Yarbasan. This individual is believed to have links with al Qaeda and is now in custody under the new suspected terrorism laws.
The reason we here at Nightfall have been approached is because it seems Omid Barakat Yarbasan had quite an interest in the occult, strange for one whose supposed religion forbids such practices. The main tome in his collection was a copy of the Heptameron.
Strangest of all was an envelope that the suspect was intending to send. The envelope was addressed as follows;
David Taubeck
c/o ExxonMobil Chemical
13501 Katy Fwy.
Houston, TX 77079-1306
USA
Inside was just another envelope on which was printed the name: David Taubeck
And inside this envelope was a dirty piece of embroidered black cloth and a paper clip. Tests show no foreign substances, just those two items.
A meeting to discuss this case, to collate all information gathered and to investigate further will be held at the Oxford house of Alexander on Saturday 1st December 2001 at 9:30am sharp.
Address: 8 ******* Lane, ********, Oxford, OX5
Tel: 01865 *** ***
Your help is greatly appreciated and we hope for a successful outcome.

<br>The camera blurs as it is moved and there is someone looking into the camera as they switch it off. Briefly, very briefly, the worried face of Mrs. Murkame can be seen before the camera is switched off.
