Breaking: Icon Davis Granted Leave of AbsenceReports suggest Icon Lord Kellar appointed interim Commissioner Today, GroundZero Wrestling 2K1 confirmed that following the events of War: Reloaded, “Entertainment Franchise” Ring of Honor Icon Nathaniel Davis would be taking a leave of absence from his position as GZW2K1 Commissioner. Icon Davis himself offered no comment, and GZW2K1 did not confirm how long the absence would be. Icon Davis’ son, Stephon Davis, along with fellow Globalstar SIR Chris Cairns fell to their apparent deaths during a heated fight atop the raised roadway of Tower Bridge in London. Searches by the River Police continue, with search teams now turning their attention to the banks of the Thames to see if either Globalstar made it ashore. In a press conference Vice President Devotion stated “Following the events of War: Reloaded, Icon Davis has taken the understandable decision that he needs to prioritise personal matters at this time. He will therefore be taking a leave of absence from his duties as GZW2K1 Commissioner. Our prayers are with him for his son’s safe return.” It is understood that shortly before the announcement GZW2K1 officials met with beaten War: Reloaded World Title challenger Icon Lord Jon Kellar. A long time friend of Icon Davis, it is believed that Icon Kellar has agreed to act as interim commissioner for the upcoming Crimson broadcast from the Phones 4U arena in Manchester, UK. Icon Kellar made no comment to enquiries from GZG Online. Click here to see what happened at War: Reloaded
