Name: Jason Von Dierch
Nickname: The Rage
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 206 lbs.
Hometown: Hamburg, Germany
Resides in: Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
Age: 22 (birth date Feb. 18th)
Affiliation: Tweener leaning face
Favorite Weapons: 2 Brass Knuckles he carries around with him all the time with the words "Rage" on both, although he rarely ever uses them outside of no DQ type matches.
Ring Entrance: "Vol Dier Dos Bette in Flammen Zhein?" by Rammstein is his entrance theme (first track on the album Hertzeleid) a few seconds after the lyrics pick up, Jason slowly walks out onto the ramp, glaring out at the crowd while a green mist engulfs the entrance ramp. Jason then makes his way down to the ramp solely focused on the ring and (if applicable) the opponent in the ring. Once he gets to ringside, Jason rolls under the ropes and gets to his feet, once again glaring out at the crowd while they give their reactions to him (good or bad) then he does a few pre-match warm ups (stretching on the ropes, etc.) before his opponent enters the ring.
Character base-
Looks: Same build as Matt Hughes (pictured above) but he has dark brown eyes, neck-length jet black hair that looks like it hasn't been washed in years. On his back he supports a large red and black dragon tattoo that stretches from shoulder to shoulder and halfway down his back. His face is rather disfigured from all the injuries and altercations he has been in. He's got three rather deep scars, one over his left eye, one particularly long one that is located next to his right ear and stretches halfway down his neck, and another smaller one on his right cheek next to his mouth. His nose looks like it had been broken and healed many times in the past. He also supports a rather shaggy goatee like that of Tank Abbott, but half the length of the beard under the chin.
Attire: In the ring he wears dark green camo cargo shorts that go down a little bit past his knees with a black belt accompanied by a round gold plated belt buckle around his waist. He wears no shirt, but has black elbow pads and wrist bands on his arms. Jason has medium length white socks that come halfway up his shin leaving little skin between the bottom of his shorts and the top of his socks. On his feet Jason wears a pair of black work boots (size 11) with red trim. Backstage and when he is coming to the ring, Jason also has on his Irish rugby shirt that looks 2 sizes too big for him.
Fighting Style: Power and Submissions with solid hardcore skills.
Match Style: Jason will go all out from the very beginning and try to put a quick end to the match whenever possible. He will take advantage of every sprain, strain, broken bone, or wound that has not totally healed as much as he possibly can. Jason will usually grapple around with an opponent for the first half of the match, switching to his submissions and more powerful moves in the latter half of the contest. One thing that Jason never does is climb the ropes though. he has no aerial skills whatsoever (besides the mundane standing dropkicks and other various moves performed from the ground) and has no ambition to climb the ropes at all. Jason will almost always (roughly 85% of matches) strive for submission victories using his rear naked choke. Once in a while he'll settle for a pin fall victory, but not often.
Signature Moves: Moves that Jason will usually only do once or twice in a match, but ones that he is famous for.
1. Regular Matches
- 3 Running Lariats (very strong clotheslines) in quick secession. -- Jason tries to use these at least twice in a match, maybe even as many as 5 times in one standard match.
- Sit-Out Power bomb -- Think of the Batista Bomb, but with MUCH less impact. Rarely ever is enough for a two count midway though matches and used with a weapon, has the potential to end a match.
- Reverse DDT -- once again, much less impact than say, the Scorpion Death Drop that Sting uses.
- Power bomb into the Corner -- Used in the latter stages of the match, is a viable finishing maneuver, or a completely believable set-up to the Rear Naked choke. When he is really aggravated in matches, Jason will do this twice, perhaps three times in a row to an opponent.
- Camel Clutch -- Think of the Steiner Recliner. Jason will occasionally use this in lieu of the Rear Naked Choke for a submission victory, but doesn't prefer it due to it leaving him in a vulnerable position for reversal.
2. Hardcore Matches
- Standing Dropkick -- This is probably the most aerial thing Jason can do, but he does this very well and can pull it off very quickly. Jason starts off by tossing an object he is carrying (for example, a chair or a trash can) toward the opponent's head, causing him or her to catch it quickly in front of their face blocking their view. Before the opponent can react any further, Jason executes a crisp standing dropkick, slamming the object in question into the opponent's face. Jason only tries this once, maybe twice, since the opponent will figure it out eventually.
-Power bomb against something -- same thing as the signature move, except that Jason will perform this against any hard surface he can find, may it be a wall, a door, a pane of glass, or into the corner against a table or ladder. You get the picture... very powerful and very effective when pulled off late in the match. Definitely has the potential to earn a pin fall.
-Flipping leg drop -- This is the other half of Jason's limited aerial repertoire. With a chair or trash can placed on the opponent's neck area, Jason performs a crisp flipping leg drop from a standing position in front of the opponent, dropping his leg straight down across the object lying on the opponent.
-Blatant chokes -- This is probably the most cheating that Jason will ever do. Jason pretty much hangs his opponent over the top rope using a long chain, cable, rope, or anything he can get his hands on until the opponent passes out or he's stopped. It works really well on smaller opponents, since their feet will be well off the ground, but he is apprehensive about doing it to taller opponents, since they will be in prime position for a quick reversal.
Common Moves: Moves that Jason will try to do each and every match, but are more routine moves that focus on getting towards the end, not getting good reactions.
1. Drop toe hold into a side ankle lock
2. Quick DDT
3. Vertical Suplex
4. Triangle Choke Hold
5. Half Nelson Suplex
6. Body Slam
7. Full-body Avalanche into the corner
8. Chicken Wing Suplex
9. Guard position punches - Jason will sit on the opponents stomach and quickly rain punches down upon the opponent's head and upper chest. When he is really aggravated Jason will use his brass knuckles when he punches the opponent.
10. Jawbreaker
Finishers: The big time. The moves Jason puts all his might and power into.
1. "Crumbling Wall" - Standing Sidekick to the Jaw -- This move can literally come out of nowhere. Jason puts all his force into his kick and can knock out a fairly large sized man with one full kick. 90% of the time, Jason will follow this move up with his submission finisher. Otherwise, Jason will simply settle for the pin if he thinks he doesn't have much left in him after a long match.
2. "Iron Curtain" - Rear Naked Choke -- Don't be fooled... this isn't the simple choke that's used in the professionals these days. This is the real thing. The move that ends many matches in the UFC. Jason locks his arms around the opponent's neck and wraps his legs around the opponent's chest and doesn't let go for anything, save for the referee's break. Once in a while though Jason will be forced to let go if the opponent fights back enough to break the hold, but not very often.
