Great Dragon
Real Name: Chiba Mamoru ("Protector of Earth")
Hyôgo, Japan
Great Dragon has been trained in Aikido since he was a little boy. This tradition passed on from father to son until the tragic death of his wife and two sons during a village raid by a band of rebels. This sent Great Dragon into a depression but he vowed to get revenge on the people who took his family from him. As time passed, he decided to travel to the United States and as he walked down a downtown street in the middle of Detroit, he noticed a young boy who was fighting off three other boys that were larger than the one. As the fight continued, he watched until the other boys ran off leaving the one boy alone. Great Dragon visited with the boy and found out that he lived in foster homes and had been sent from place to place. Great Dragon decided to adopt the boy and took him back to Japan to train him in Aikido. Great Dragon called the young man Red Dragon and Red Dragon trained and grew into a black belt in Aikido. Red Dragon helped Great Dragon get his revenge. Great Dragon sent Red Dragon to GZW to become a professional wrestler and Great Dragon sometimes makes an appearance and will escort his son to the ring.
Weapons: Metal walking stick
Great Dragon escorts Red Dragon down to the ring and will stand by the announcer table to watch the match. Great Dragon will only getting involved in the match if Red Dragon's opponent is cheating. He only does it to even the match. But he makes sure the referee does not see it to keep Red Dragon from getting disqualified.
