Hi!
Siu Ann Wong here with my new regular column in Hotwire. Our show, Wednesday Wyldsyde, may not be televised, but every week in Hotwire I'll be bringing you the results and some insight as to what happened!
"Arabian Sun" Mirage V Dave H.C
Mirage dominated the development wrestler, but a flurry of offense culminating in a fisherman's suplex resulted in the member of new stable Back In Black getting a two count. However, it was finished in a hurry when Mirage hit the Sand Storm for the 1, 2, 3!
WINNER BY PINFALL: "Arabian Sun" Mirage
Fast and Furious V Mean Macauly McGrue and 'Bad Boy' Ben Robertson.
The members of the newly formed Pendragon Society, BattleCry and Invincible showed a lot of impressive tag team continuity isolating Robertson in the early going. However a cheap shot from McGrue and a tag meant BattleCry took a fair beating. However, after a missed second rope elbowdrop from Robertson allowed BattleCry to tag, and Invincible cleared house. Shortly after, a double dropkick sidelined Robertson and a Diehard on McGrue ended the bout with BattleCry getting the pinfall.
WINNERS BY PINFALL: Fast and Furious
Kid Kaos V Ass Clown
Accompanied by Chains, Kid Kaos looked confident as he headed to the ring. Predictably Kid Kaos did dominate the match, with little defence by Ass Clown. Ultimately, Kaos hit the Kaotic Krusher on Ass Clown and finished him off by making him tap out to troubleshooter/
WINNER BY SUBMISSION: Kid Kaos
MAIN EVENT: "El Gambit" Santiago De Touwce V Dameon
El Gambit was booed so loudly I could hardly hear myself commentating as he came out for this one. Obviously, he's not popular for his actions against T-Rex. Dameon, accompanied by Hades and Spice, ran to the ring and beat down on El Gambit at the beginning. El Gambit fired back with an eye rake and a DDT for a short two count. Going to the top, El Gambit hit a flying corss body, followed by a Gibraltarsault for an extremely long count of two. As El Gambit hassled the referee, Dameon rolled up El gambit into a schoolboy for a two count. The momentum went back and forth, but every time Dameon used his 70 plus pounds weight advantage to dominate El Gambit. The ref was knocked down when a mistimed Dameon lariat was ducked by El Gambit. El gambit took advantage and took out his cosh. A vicious blow to the temple floored the Fiery, but the ref was aware enough to see the blantent breach of the rules, and called for teh bell to disqualify El Gambit. Hades leapt into the ring to defend his father from further abuse from El Gambit. El Gambit made a quick getaway and headed up the ramp gloating, as Wyldsyde came to a close.
WINNER BY DQ: Dameon
