Welcome one and all to this another issue of the biggest grab in GZW Magazine: Reality Check! This week I'm basically just gonna give a brief runthrough of Travesty as I didn't fidn the show all that breath catching really.
Some big notes on Travesty were basically, Pride attacking Jacob Helmsley and helping Chris T to gather the win. Then we got to see Magic win his four way match and then we were treated to the match of the night, Kid Kaos Vs. Prey.
That's the match I'm choosing to talk about, the way these two put themselves on the line was inspiring for me and it really highlighted a lackluster show to this columnist. The outcome went to Prey thanks to Outlaw Wales, but the outcome wasn't important to me... It was both mens ability to just put their bodies on the line, and I wouldn't be to doubtful if it earns young Kid Kaos perhaps his matchs at the Extreme Title. Which has become nothing more than a trophy for freaks over the last few weeks!
But then onto the nights other heart warming occurance, and that was seeing Diamond Sledge come out to the ring and pledge alliegence to Chris Sharp's cause, to rid GZW of "Pride". Diamond is fast becoming one of my favs and I hope to see him gain the respect he deserves.
Then it was time for the Main Event, a main event that was overhshadowed by the Kaos/Prey match, but besides that it wasn't anything out of the norm. Maxx Pain wins and retains for another day and we get another GZW show eneding with "Pride".
FREE MONEY!!!
Ok, bet your wondering why I did that huh? Well it's basically to wake you up from that boring garble I just poured out. Because now I want to move onto the real interesting subject of my column and that is the matches I want to see at the next and nearing GZW PPV, Fallout: Zero Hour.
Now heres how I'm gonna work this, I'm gonna put the match down and then give a brief statement on why I'd like to see that match take place... No winners predicted today as it's far to early for me to pick them. ;D So here we go folks!
All of these men are deserving of a shot if you ask me but some are gonna wonder why I think Adam Cage deserves a shot.
Well I think Adam has been slacking lately in his wrestling actions and that after winning a HUGE win over Monarch at Fallout: Zero Tolerance, the "Most Sadistic Man in GZW" just sorts blended into the "Pride" shadow.
I think it's time to see AC return to his Extreme ways and go for the gold he held for oh so long here in GZW.
Well not much to say except I want to see this title actually come into play! What's the point of having it around if no one cares about it? Come on boys, give me what I want! And that is the CCW Title Match.
Time to see the match I've been waiting for, for what 2 months now? I think thier feud has definately stalled recentley but with Rex back in action I'm hoping they will start to turn it on and make this match the show stealer it could be.
Well here I'm just geussing as to who will oppose the Tag Champs reign. With the other "WMCB" team out of business with the firing of Epic, this leaves the field open to a number of long time Tag Teams. But when it doubt go with the old favs.
