It was a very busy day in United Japan offices yesterday, as a lot of cards were announced. Firstly, the 4/5 PPV lineup, which will have three "UJW Ranking" matches, to get Raziel's new ranking system underway. And of course, "desperate" Nitaro Fuji, as he's being called, has maybe his last chance in a long time to win the UJW Super Heavyweight Title. Then comes the Okinawa show, with an awesome-looking main event. United Japan ran a TV taping in this building last January and everyone from the Kenzo Suzuki to Hiro Saito got massive crowd responses. After that comes the "HUGE BRAWL SERIES", which leads into the Tokyo Dome show. Raziel has worked very hard to book appealing lineups and there are many good matches, including the continuation of the junior warfare from the last series. George Takano (AKA The Punisher), one of United Japan's former stars, will team with Raziel on 4/24 and will also be on the 5/2 Dome show most likely. Just the main cards have been announced so far.
- Keiji Tsumi has cast his eyes outside of United Japan for challengers to his and Michiko Nakuke's All Japan Tag Team Title. Tsumi said, "Since we won the titles, I want to turn my eyes outside. Manic Depression and Dice Morgan of GZW? The Claymores of HKWF? New Era of MSWA? Anything is sufficient!". Tsumi said they would defend against outsiders on any show anywhere.
- Kazuhiro "Obake" Ohta has decided to intervene on Raziel's booking of the 5/2 show. Ohta believes there aren't enough mixed martial arts fighters on the show and has booked GLORY Heavyweight Champion, Antonio Nogueira, along with Marcus Fortune and Paul Spartan. That may not be all yet though...
-Bushido made an impact in GroundZero Wrestling 2K1's flagship show,Tuesday Crimson 3/26,by intervening during the end of a Lumberjack match which saw the stable Pride and Bushido's UJW archrival,Sincere,triple teaming Nathaniel Davis.With Bushido in GZW how long before we see more UJW stars on GZW television...
