Ring of Honor Icon promoted in GroundZero Enterprises
Today the Board of Directors,chaired by Logan Corzair,unaminously voted to promote GroundZero Enterprises executive Samuel Knight to President of GroundZero Wrestling 2K1 effectively immediately.Mr.Knight is a former GZW wrestling veteran that retired in late 2001 due to injures suffered in and out of the ring.
President Knight was on hand at a press conference in Atlanta,Georgia to comment on his promotion.President Knight vowed a "return to the glory days" for GZW and promised to eradicate "the ruthlessness and lawlessness that permeates the sport".
Knight,recently inducted into GZW's Ring of Honor along with his longtime tag team partner,Jason ArcAngel,had no comment concerning the current power structure within GZW that consist of Nikita Fortune as Director of All Wrestling Operations,Angel Profit-Williams as Commissioner,and Sincere Hiroshuma as Deputy Commissioner.Knight did express that within the coming days he would meet with his "Powers Three" and "insure that everyone one was on the same page".
