Patrick Nelson
Host of Crimson
Play-by-play announcer, Patrick is a professional first, but still a fan at heart. He feels professionally obligated to call things down the middle, but that won't stop him from speaking out when things get too far out of hand. Although he sometimes gets frustrated when having to "referee" his squabbling broadcast partners, Patrick loves his job tremendously, and personifies the "it's a lifestyle, not a job" attitude of the GZW2K1 Broadcasting Crew.
Todd Crumb
Co-Host of Crimson
Not that long ago, Todd Crumb was a local news anchor for a major television station in Hong Kong. However, he was also a HKWF fan, an incredible fan. In an incident that most people would find embarrassing, but that Todd considers a "personal highlight", Crumb was fired from his job when he repeatedly cut away from a breaking live story to show footage of a HKWF wrestler walking through the streets of town. HKWF executives heard of this development and offered Crumb a shot at the third announcer's chair. Todd leap at the chance to get this "dream job" and quickly established himself as one of the most entertaining figures in all of professional wrestling. Crumb's trademark "What could [insert wrestler name] be thinking?!?!" phrase has quickly become a part of Ground Zero Global lore.
Joshua Samson
Co-Host of Crimson
Originally signed on to HKWF as a backup announcer, Samson quickly proved himself to be a valuable asset to the team, his star far outshone that of his predecessor and Samson soon found himself entrenched as the regular color commentator on HKWF shows. Samson has his favorites and makes no secret about it. What's not at all surprising, coming from the cocky, wisecracking Samson, is that those favorites tend to be some of wrestling's most notorious rulebreakers. Samson's ultimate hero is, without a doubt, retired former HKWF Heavyweight Champion, Michael Irons.
