What's worse? Getting fired? Or jobbing to Hogan's horrific legdrop? Hmmm... TNA, please

-From Wrestling Observer.
Ok, so as I understand it RVD was caught with marajuana, is suspended for 30 days without pay, Sabu is caught with several pills and fined $1,000. Orton is caught with EIGHT BOTTLES of non-prescription painkillers and is fined a mere 2 grand? How does that work out?
That source is right, the Wellness program is starting to look like a joke. Maybe there should be a clause stuck in there, something like:
13. DISCIPLINE FOR VIOLATION OF LAW
Any Talent who is arrested, convicted or who admits to a violation of law relating to use, possession, purchase, sale or distribution of prohibited drugs will be in material breach of contract and subject to immediate dismissal. However, if you can get an over the hill 80's star to jump to your defence, you'll escape with a slap on the wrist and a babysitter who you'll probably ignore/wind up until they quit the position and you can carry on as before
How's that?
Incidently why the hell does Orton need painkillers, all I've ever seen him do is the headlock and the RKO!

Just saw that update too. And, Jon? If you knew you were going to have a match with Hogan and may have to succumb to the leg drop of doom...wouldn't you want to ease the pain as well? lmao!

According to the Observer this is a hoax story and says we owe Randy an apology.
Sorry Randy, I don't know how we couldn't have trusted you... except that you're an obnoxious egotistical prick with 0 wrestling talent, one good move, below par mic skills, a "legend killer" gimmick when you actually get squashed by most of the legends, who defecated in a handbag and recently came back from a suspension for being an ass.
But apart from that... oh and your title reign being cancelled... we had no reason to judge. So we're all very sorry.

Orton is not that bad. He is better than most, but he will pay for his crimes when he faces the only guy left in the WWE who has control of his character.

Monday, July 10, 2006 Kurt Angle forced to face his demons Well respected wrestling journalist Dave Scherer reported late last week that Kurt Angle had been suspended by the WWE for thirty days. Reasons for his suspension have been kayfabed like crazy by insiders, workers and everyone in between. Tha O Show has confirmed through various reliable sources that Angle has been told he has thirty days to kick his addiction to pain pills, or he will be terminated. One WWE worker who demanded to remain annonymous told Tha O Show yesterday, "Between gas (steroids), HGH (human growth hormone), and Vicadin (pain pills) he's a lot worse than Eddie (Guerrero)." Angle, who was a much slimer, with lean muscle tone when he debuted in the WWE saw his body bulk up to almost unreal proportions in 2004 / 2005. Today, his arms look like two loose pieces of linguine, because he has allegedly kicked the juice since Guerrero's tragic death (caused by a failed heart as a result of years of drug abuse - performance enhancing and recreational). Angle however appears to not have slowed down at all with the very addictive pain pills known as Vicadin. Remember, this is a man who won a gold medal in the 1996 Olympic games when his neck was broken and came back after missing alarmingly few dates in 2003 when he broke his neck a second time. Kurt Angle may be the best wrestler on the planet. Some have gone so far as to put him on their all time top 10. That being said, it may be time for Kurt to walk away from the sport once and for all, just so that he can stop putting the daily strain on his broken body and can slowly ween himself off the pain medication. The WWE giving him "30 days" to clean up is laughable. How many addicts can clean up THAT quickly? Likely they are hoping this ISN'T an addicition issue and Angle will simply "stop" following this professional intervention. If Angle truly wants to continue his wrestling career, the WWE should grant him a one year leave (with pay) to get clean and get healthy. I fear however that won't happen. Forget his feuds with Mark Henry, Steve Austin or The Undertaker... this will be the greatest battle of Angle's life. I just hope it doesn't end the way so many other wrestling bios tend to. With massive tragedy. Good luck Kurt. Our prayers are with you. Source: www.thaoshow.com/Not sure about the source but I guess it makes sense.... Tate

Harry Smith was recruited for the next season of Hogan Knows Best as a date for Brooke Hogan. As previously noted, the next season focuses alot on Brooke dating, which Hulk does not like. Smith may also be included in the WWE TV storyline between Brooke/Hulk/Orton. The plan now is to do Hogan/Orton at Summerslam in Boston with Orton going over and then do the rematch at Wrestlemania in Detroit with Hogan going over.

I've always thought those were RL shows...it seems now they are still in the wrestling relm with scripts and the like.
but I don't like the plan by the wwe...I'd say let Orton go over both times...especially at WM23

From PWInsider:
-Joey Styles is back in Vince's "dog house". After the show last night Vince had a long talk with Joey, telling him that he's once again not happy with how he's calling the shows. After the meeting, Joey was in a very down mood and one person described it as he "looked like his dog died", and that's how down he was. Vince just doesn't like Joey's style of calling matches, in that Joey tries to call it like an athletic contest. Vince, as we all know, wants him to call the match by "telling stories".
- Vince looks at TNA - a product that he feels caters towards internet fans - and recognizes their lack of growth in ratings, PPV buys, etc. This is why he feels that he has to WWE'ize ECW to make it profitible.
-Many people in the company thought that when ECW started up, they were getting ECW again, and not what we have now. They thought Joey would be back to where he could call "wrestling" instead of being forced into "telling stories".
-Some have said that Joey really doesn't help himself in all of this, since he's just unwilling to adjust and really go along with what Vince wants for the most part.
-Yesterday, Vince was telling agents that he realizes that his product is what it is, and that it's going to turn off a lot of the old ECW fans, but his goal is that he wants ECW to be a major national brand that can turn a profit for him. He thinks in order for it to be a huge success, it's got to be like this.
-Vince is putting in a lot of work for ECW, like what you're seeing or not. He's been working on ECW more than just about anything else lately.
-The Miz is in danger of killing his chances in WWE. He fucked up his lines at SD just like he did on RAW, and they're going to have to do a lot of editing to make it presentable for this Friday's show. After he screwed up again, many people backstage were rolling their eyes at the guy when he screwed up, again. Many are wondering how he's even getting a push since he can't remember his lines or cut a decent promo.
-Many people in WWE loved Mick Foley's promo. Many were saying that it's amazing how good a promo can be when a guy can write his own material instead of having to go by a script word for word.
-That said, many people in WWE creative hated Foley's promo.
-More on Kelly Kelly - Everyone backstage notices that Kelly is horrible and has no natural talent at all in terms of looking sexy, dancing and everything else. That is, no natural talent for doing her JOB. Many people commented saying that this was especially obvious in her segment with Candice, and that she looked like a "little girl" trying to do a "big girl" thing. Having them two together opened a lot of eyes to the fact that she just doesn't belong on TV at all, since Candice looked like a pro. in comparison.
