So basically, he's in his smackdown/aw position, but with better pay and a much less stressful travel schedule.
I'd say he's quite lucky lol.

When you take out the car rental, petrol, flights etc (christian now lives near where TNA is filmed) I doubt he's that much worse off (if at all).

WWE doesn't pay for all that stuff?! Wow... Bastards. Bless you, Sean! What a strange thing to say! My place of work doesn't pay for my petrol to work, and I sincerely doubt yours does either! M x

WWE makes wrestlers pay for most things. I think the only time WWE pays for flights is when it's for an overseas tour.
Low card guys make about $40 a year, aparently. That's why the likes of AJ styles turned down wwe contracts, cos they would make a shit load more doing a lot of indie stuff, rather than being restricted to $40 with a pitiful downside guarantee.

Okay, $40K sounds extremely more reasonable lol. I thought you literally meant $40 and that would be highly insane for anyone to take lol.

I think Christian's flights were paid for because the rumor is that one of the reasons he left is because he wanted to be bumped from coach to first class during flights.
The bigger WWE stars get all their shit paid for.
AJ Styles is the best example to use from the indies as he is pretty well known. Christian was tread as an "average" WWE superstar. I highly doubt the average TNA guy and definitely the average indie worker does not make 40,000 year.
At least WWE pays your medical bills.

After ECW On Sci-Fi went off the air, the Big Show and Batista teased getting back in the ring to wrestle more as the crowd booed. They entered the ring, smiled, shook hands, and hugged as fans threw garbage into the ring. The two then walked around ringside giving fans high fives as many of them cursed at them. Big Show eventually grabbed the mic and told the crowd to kiss his ass.
Live reports had the crowd being mixed with original ECW fans who hated all the WWE wrestlers and WWE fans who cheered the WWE guys.
Simon Dean and Fit Finlay were backstage at the show.
Recently eliminated Diva Search contestant Rebecca was seated in one of the balconies at the show.
