"Randy Savage has been in talks with UFC president Dana White. White is said to be very serious about signing the "Macho Man" after he was informed that the former WWF champion was in fact training with Team Quest."
Interviewer: How did you and Dana get to talking, Randy?
Savage: Ah, well, there wasn't much to it really. I've been training with Team Quest for about four months now. I'm still not on a lot of these guys' level, but I feel I'm progressing quickly and eventually hope to step in the octagon and represent professional wrestling proudly.
Interviewer: What are your plans when you step into the Octagon? Are you well-rounded enough to fight guys like Tim Sylvia and Brandon Vera?
Savage: You know, I'm a wrestler, that's what it really comes down to. At the end of the day, that's all I am. I've improved my striking and grappling ability, but overall my plans are to just use my wrestling to control the fighters.
Interviewer: I assume you'll be fighting at heavyweight?
Savage: Of course. I'd have to cut off both my legs to make any of the lower classes. Its my natural weight. I know the competition is tight, but it never bothered me before when I was wrestling.
Interviewer: Before we wrap things up, is there anything you want to say to your fans, Randy?
Savage: I just want to thank them for sticking by me. I know there was a lot of bullshit going around before, but I've turned my life around and am passionate about what I do. I ask for your support in the future and hope I will not diappoint you.
Interviewer: Thanks for your time, Randy.
Savage: Thanks a lot guys.

lolz... I personally can't wait for him to step into in the ring with Arlovski or Monson and have him get KOed in 10 seconds flat. Just think of it... they could have Silvia ~VS~ Savage: WHO'S JUICE IS STRONGER! ;D ;D On a different note related to UFC, Diego Sanchez needs a Welterweight title shot like, now. 'nuff of this fighing the undercard bs... give this man a shot at GSP and he'll beat 'em. ~ Tool

GSP won't fight Diego for a few fights, BUT I think if anybody can beat GSP, its Diego.

next in line is Matt Sarra(sp?)...that should happen in January...then dependin' on the outcome of that match and Hughes decision to retire or not expect to see GSP/Hughes around early summer months...

Gergh... I hate Hughes... yeah he was a dominant force as champion, but I still don't like him.

RIGHT. I like Matt Serra(i dunno how to spell it either tate, i just figured id take a different approach.) Serra vs GSP GSP should win tho. and yeah prolly a grudge match with Hughes and GSP. So like i said Diego is prolly da best bet to beat GSP, but he wont get a shot for a while
