Bobby Lashley is your new Ecw World Heavyweight Champion.
I'm actually shocked because I didn't expect Lashley to win the title, but I like the fact that they gave it to him. He's good in the ring, his mic skills needs some work but this is a good start for him.

Dumbest move ever. I heard this PPV was SHIT, too. Punk eliminated first?! Sounds really horrible, and Lashley winning just makes it worse. Boooooooring! I think it's horrible that they're putting regular WWE guys over the ECW guys who work better.
Again, Bobby is REALLY not good. I don't see the big deal in him at all. He has boring Goldberg/Lesnar combo wannabe written all over him. It just doesn't work. I'm not looking forward to ECW...

Test doing the elbow off the pod was pretty cool, though.
And Hardyz/MNM was good.
BUT, I am glad I didn't have to pay for this...
God damn, Ariel is hot, though.

Lashley is good, he's better than half the Ecw Roster....there aren't too many, if any superstars in the Ecw that were actual Ecw stars that are better than Lashley.

Rvd-probly the only one
those are really the only true Ecw stars on the show.
Granted I did expect Holly to be the first to be eliminated, but CM Punk, they just won't put the title on him just yet. He will get the second tier title....if they create one, which they need to and sooooooooon.
lay off of Lashley, the only way he has the Goldberg/Lesnar combo is because you lable him that way. Open your mind about him, after all the squashing they had the tag team of Big Show/Kane do to him, this is the least they could do to repay Lashley. He's quicker than Goldberg and Lesnar COMBINED and probly stronger. AND he's not a crybaby like Goldberg either.
I suppose you like Batista being the Champ on SD, Lashley is better in the ring than Batista and Batista himself is a crybaby and an egomaniac.

Lesnar can wrestle... Lashley can not. Goldberg had the hype... Lashley does not.
Personally I think he needs a shitload of work before he ever deserves this belt.

Goldberg is really good, actually. Just because you didn't see him putting on a wrestling clinic doesn't mean he can't trade holds, because he can and anybody who watched WCW should know this by watching a match or so with Benoit or Hart. But, it isn't the same watching Goldberg exchange locks as it is to just watch him demolish somebody, that was the character.
Lashley is ok, definately shouldn't be compared to either Brock or Goldberg, though.

No, I didn't like batista being champ. I hate it. He's shit.
Lashley is improving. He could have potential in three or four years time. However, he has no charisma. Right now, he's so green it hurts.
Considering RVD was never actually convicted of anything, it's bizarre that he's still being punished like this.
Punk is infinitely more qualified for a title run than lashley. He knows how to perform long matches, he has the skills on the mic and in the ring to go far. He's more experienced than lashley, that's for sure.
The other guys in that match were perplexingly bad.
Matt stryker, if it wasn't for his gimmick, could have main event potential.
Other guys... I dunno, ECW is in bad shape right now, but then, WWE decided to drown it in b-list Smackdown rejects.
Lashley, however, doesn't deserve anything yet for the soul reason that he can't wrestle.

Lashley is better than over half of the current Ecw roster, with the exception of Cm Punk and RVD....
Punk won't be a champion just yet, Vince is a huge fan of the big men and Punk to him doesn't fit that mold. Punk will soon get his title shot and his title run, just not yet.

Lashley sucks. I've really come to that conclusion for myself. He takes horrible bumps, his powerhouse moves are SO cliche and overdone, he hits moves sloppily, his opponents just look like "Damn... I have to wrestle this stiff?". His mic skills are REALLY bad. He's boring, has no charisma, and can't carry an opponent through ANYTHING! He's a Goldberg/Lesnar ripoff... He even uses Lesnar's ring entrance, basically. The ONLY good thing he has going for him is that spear (note the Goldberg comparison).
So basically, WWE has... Cena, Batista and Lashley as their Champs. That... Well, you basically can't get worse than that right now. Horrible.

If you use the spear as a Goldberg comparison then you have to apply that to Rhyno and Edge because they both use the same move. The only part of his Ring entrance thats like Lesnars is him jumping on the apron, other than that nothing is the same. He's better in the ring than Lesnar, you won't see Lashley trying a shooting star press, because unlike Lesnar, Lashley knows he can't pull that move off.
it seems Sean that you are basing the comparison to Goldber/Lesnar off a spear and jumping apron entrance, thats not enough to draw any comparison to those other two superstars.
I've stated that his mic skills needs alot of work, but I like Lashley. He's better than the other two WWE Champions.

Lesnar was much better wrestler than Lashley Rico...  Lesnar can use submissions... powerhouse... grappling.... and he has hit the shooting star many times. The Wrestlemainia instant was a botch but even that botch turned into a good Wrestlemainia moment. Lesnar had the mic skills... the wrestling savy... and the charisma to be at the top. Where as Lashley doesn't do anything to stand out. He's solid I'll give him/you that... but he doesnt stand out. And why Seano ompared him to Goldberg on the spear and not Edge/Rhyno is because Edge/Rhyno use OTHER moves to finish matches sometimes... and they are different styles compared to the Goldberg/Lesnar/Lashley typical big crush you kinda guy. Lashley has no right being Champion right now... maybe in 3 to 4 years... but right now he brings nothing special to the table and just continues to make ECW look like a D if not F show.... compared to the C where they want it.
