I honestly can't believe you said Lashley's a better wrestler than Lesnar. Lesnar, in every aspect, is 10 times better than Lashley. That's seriously a no brainer.
Alex was dead on with my Lesnar/Goldber comparison, and if you read closely you'd know that I didn't say those were the ONLY reasons. Also the fact that they're pushing him WAY too fast and already have him World Champ within a year... Uh, yeah, Lesnar RIP OFF! Only thing was, Lesnar could pull it off.
Give Lashley a few more years. He's so dull and green right now... His nickname is The Hulk from now on.

Actually, Lesnar wasn't that great on the mic for a long time only he was fortunate to have Heyman in his corner...

His ringwork and intensity made up for it. Something Lashley doesn't have.

I don't have that big of a problem with Lashley. He's not great, but he isn't always terrible. I don't think he deserves the title, much less the ECW title. I was actually fearing Test would somehow walk out the champ...which is almost better than Lashley but still terrible.
I don't know who it was that said Lesnar couldn't wrestle, but did they forget his amateur background? Wasn't he a multiple time state champ? Lesnar was a beast. Too bad he is a fucking moron.

Didn't Lashley used to use the Dominator as his finisher? I liked that move, and he could do it. I don't think the spear will be a permanent thing, but really do you think he could do the Dominator to the Big Show?

Alex, Sean the spear was not always Lashley's finisher, he only began using it a few months ago so lay off the Goldberg comparison, PLEASE. He has the Dominator and now the running powerslam, so are you going to compare him to the British Bulldog Edge's finisher is primarily the spear, it has always been the spear and it will always be the spear, Rhyno has never.....NEVER had another finisher other than the gore, which is what.............a fucking spear! Lesnar was Terrible in the ring, they put him in the ring with people that would make him look good, thats why he was always in a feud with Angle because Angle made him look good. Undertaker did as well. other than that Lesnar was nothing, a nobody and himself a Goldberg rip off if you will. And I only remember Lesnar pulling off the shooting star press while in WWE only once and that was when he messed up the move. sure Lashley is not great on the mic, and like Ishy said neither was Lesnar, but Lashley makes up for it in the ring, he's quicker than Goldberg and Lesnar COMBINED a better move set, his stamia goes beyond theirs. Neither Goldberg nor Lesnar was any good on the mic, Goldberg alwasy wanted to be in the main event scene and Lesnar....he's just Lesnar wanting to do things that he can't do. As far as him giving Show the Dominator, I think he could, I never really understood the WWE's theory in letting Guys 6'0" give Show and FU, and then guys like Undertaker whom they never let slam Big Show.....the only big guy to ever slam show was Nash, when he broke shows neck, and Kane when he chokeslammed him. But they let Cena Fu him ever match. Though on ECW Tuesday, they let Lashley slam show twice in one match....

It's more than just having moves...at the end of the day no one has a move that is exclusive really so the physical comparison is pointless. The fact is, Lashley lacks personality and that's where, for me anyway, a lot of "stars" don't stand out to me. After all I have seen their moves a million times before so what else do they bring to the table to set them apart?

I think what I was trying to say is that I would like Edge, for example, because he is Edge and he appeals to an audience, I couldn't care less what move he uses to push his character as I will have seen a million others use the same move anyway. It takes more than a moveset to be a good pro wrestler. Same in e-wretling too to some degree with gimmicks and such.

Very true, that is why I don't get the Goldberg/Lesnar comparison for Lashley....orrrrr the Big Show/Andrea the Giant comparison either

The andre comparison with the big show, while not exactly relevant in terms of wrestling style probably exists because:
A: he's a giant
b: wore pretty much the same ring gear
c: was bought into wcw to feud with hogan
and most crucially:
d: He used to be billed as andre's son.
And really, you can't avoid the lashley/brock/goldberg comparisons simply because goldberg and brock in wcw and wwe respectively set the template for muscle bound, relatively quick power house, suplex machine wrestlers who appear out of nowhere and get pushed to the moon in record time.
