First ever European King of the Deathmatch Tournament this weekend, Hippodrome, Colchester, England
This Sunday (10th December), the first ever King of the Deathmatch will be held in Europe as the extreme German federation, Westside Xtreme Wrestling and the United Kingdom's start up promotion, X-Sports: Wrestling team up to bring us, Gorefest 2006.

Semifinal will be a Barbed Wire Boards & Barbed Wire Bat Deathmatch channelling the spirit of the old FMW days with the Bat placed in the middle of the ring and the two wrestler start to run towards the ring from seperated parts of the venue! Athletic might be more useful here then just sheer power and brutality.
2.
Semifinal will be a the Chamber of Torture which will make all you bloodthirsty fans very happy. Have you ever thought of seeing Mousetraps, Cheese Graters and then even Salt & Lemon used in a British wrestling ring? December 10th will mark the date of this violent battle.
The final will involve several gimmicks, especially the one Deathmatch favorite gimmick not named in any match yet! Be surprised and see how the Gorefest will be decided then!
The tournament includes a number of regular deathmatch workers and some who have never really done anything this extreme before, so it'll be interesting to see who steps up to the plate on the day. The tournament has had some trouble with wrestlers pulling out Toby Klein pulled out this week and was replaced by Mickie Knuckles and JC Bailey pulled out a while back, but everything is looking to be on track now and it'll be interesting to see who comes out on top in the tournament.
Alongside the Deathmatch tournament there will be two non-deathmatch matches on the card, a Four-Way Women's match featuring Jade, Roxi, 'The Jezebel' Eden Black and one more. And a six man, '5 Minute Warning' Match (Competitors enter the ring every five minutes) featuring soon to be WWE Star Claudio Castagnoli, wXw Heavyweight Champion, Ares, FWA Flyweight Champion and highflying sensation, Pac, a debuting enigma known as Fuckin' A!, the number one contender to the wXw Heavyweight Championship, Paul Tyrrell and the British Under 23 Champion, Sam Slam.
