Kurt Angle appeared on the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show today. Below are some highlights.
* Said that he will have his first shoot fight in May or June on a "TNA broadcast" and that it wouldn't be in association with PRIDE or UFC. He specifically named Tito Ortiz, Chuck Liddell, Randy Couture, and Daniel Puder as potential opponents.
* He ran down Daniel Puder as usual.
* He said that he has 3 or 4 fights in him and that his shoot fights would be under his rules which would include legal headbutts. He said that shoot fights would start a new "wrestling war" and that losing a fight would kill his career but would be worth the risk because the fights would do over a million PPV buys each.
* Said that his Olympic Slam on Samoa Joe on Impact this week wasn't scripted.
* Put over Vince Russo as a great writer and said they are getting along great. He even ignored Bubba's negative comments about Russo.
* Said that he almost got in a legit fight with Rob Van Dam once because RVD messed up a spot during one of their matches in WWE. He added that RVD didn't back down from him and thus earned his respect.
* Said that RVD once slapped Tazz backstage and that Tazz backed down.
* Said he was currently in California meeting with people in the TV and film industries. Said he will likely book an appearance on CBS's Ghost Whisperer.

Tazz is probably too hurt to fight anymore.
I would almost reckon RVD would have a chance in a fight with Kurt though.

The RVD/Tazz backstage ruckus that I know of happened in ECW when Taz thought he was a real tough shoot fighter because he believed his booking. It's quite a well documented affair, and taz did back down.
