The plan is for ECW to become something of a high level developmental territory, which was to be the original direction for the brand at first. Several Ohio Valley Wrestling talents (and presumably Deep South Wrestling talents as well) are expected to appear on ECW television soon. We don't have any specific names yet, but it should be known soon
Maybe it was a blessing that Paul Heyman was sent home when he was lol...

Yknow what? I'm relieved.
This is what I hoped ECW would be from the start. If it's a developmental then they can actually take risks on new talent and try to innovate, rather than for some reason being booked as Smackdown B.

Yeah, I think it'd be amazing if they televised a lot of the up and comers, rather than the washed up and boring stars they have flooding the ECW main event scene. I mean, look at CM Punk... He's the reason people watch ECW. Kevin Thorn and Mike Knox (I don't know why people hate him so much, he wrestlers VERY nicely, I like his moves and all)... Terkay and Burke could be good if used right... Same with Striker. All those guys makes the ECW low/mid-card good to watch, and they're basically all developing still.
So yeah, I see this as a great turn if they pull through with the plan.

Now that you put it that way...its not a bad Idea....and they don't have to worry about any type of risk...
