Stephanie McMahon sees Daniel Rodimer as "the new Diesel" and she wants to group him with Edge and Randy Orton. There are already RAW brand house shows being advertised with DX vs. Edge, Randy Orton and Rodimer in 2-on-3 matches. Rodimer has only been wrestling since August.
The McMahon's have decided that WWE newcomer Vladimir Kozlov (Oleg Prudius), who made his debut at last Monday's RAW in D.C., will be in line for a main event push. However, this has caused some concern because his wrestling abilities aren't too good. So much so that Deep South Wrestling officials didn't want his matches to appear on their television show. Kozlov has only been wrestling since April. Anyways, the plan is for Kozlov to be a geeky Russian who thinks that he's a babyface when he is actually a heel (this is similar to the original gimmick for Kurt Angle). Furthermore, his gimmick is that he's a sambo and MMA champion.

I can kinda see it. He's a pretty big guy. He'll fit perfectly with Rater RKO judging by his looks and his attitude in those pics. We'll see, though.
PS: Okay, now I remember him from Tough Enough. Definitely fit for Rated RKO

 He would fit in perfect with Rated RKO? If you spliced a picture of Ortan & Edge together that is what you would get. Although that could just be my mind going all crazy..  As for the next Diesel. I am still waiting on the next razor Ramon. Man he could flick a toothpick like nobodies business. |

LOL....next razor ramone...lol No one can portray that gimmick like Scott Hall...
But I would not give Rodimer the moniker as "The Next Diesel" let him establish his own identity, I know they are probly going to build him up as that but I say give him something that will make him different from all the other big men in Wrestling.....

So I'm alone on Carlito seeming a whole lot like Razor, just without da machismo oozing? Character reminds me of a new age razor, but hey maybe im tripping. Wrestling styles are different, but the character's seem pretty similar.
Rodimer definately has the look, but I've heard nuthing about this guys in ring ability, which usually means its not all that great. So I dunno

when I first saw Carlito I thought they were going to use him like Razor...He's good in the ring, but like Lashley...He needs a hellllllllllllllluva lot of Mic work.
