According to Wade Keller in his newest audio update there is a good chance that Spike will give TNA a 2 hour show on Monday 2/12. Raw will be airing on Thursday from 8-10 that week because of the Dog Show. TNA and Spike see this as a great oppurtunity to draw in some new fans unopposed on what is considered the top night for pro wrestling. There is also a chance that the show could be live since it's the day after Against All Odds and TNA already has that day scheduled for tapings. They would run the 2 hour show live and then tape the following week's 1 hour show right after. He was told the final decision regarding this has not been made yet but that it should be within the next week or so.
Also Spike is very happy with the ratings that iMPACT! is getting. This time last year Spike favored UFC but right now they see TNA as being above them. Spike has offered TNA a 2 hour deal full time but a few thing's including money are still being worked out.

The TNA Impact rating last Thursday was down to a 0.9. It will be interesting to see if the drop was due to the holiday season or the start of a trend.
TNA is scheduled to have a staff meeting in Nashville, TN this week to discuss strategies for the company going forward in 2007.
TNA will debut a big merchandise tie-in on their Shoptna.com website next week that will play off the 1/14 Final Resolution PPV.
In an update from what I wrote last week, at this point, the location of Lockdown on 4/15 is up in the air and may well end up in Orlando in the end. TNA has been actively seeking new locations to run potential PPV events in, including Pittsburgh, Chicago, and St. Louis, among other locations.
For those of you in Great Britain, TNA Impact will debut on 1/6/07 on Bravo 2. If there is any material specifically produced for the British market on the show, please feel free to let us know by clicking my name above. Bravo 2 will also broadcast TNA's PPVs on a tape delayed basis.
As mentioned earlier today, a number of TNA stars are leaving today for Portugal to take part in several events for the APW promotion there, including NWA champion Abyss, Kurt Angle, Christian Cage, AJ Styles, and more.
TNA's upcoming live event schedule (all dates at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida unless otherwise stated) features Final Resolution on 1/14, Impact taping on 1/15, 1/20 house show in Birmingham, Alabama, 1/29 Impact taping, 2/11 Against All Odds PPV, 2/12 Impact taping, 2/26 Impact taping, 3/11 Destination X PPV, 3/12 Impact taping, 4/2 Impact taping, 4/15 Lockdown PPV.
Among those scheduled for the Alabama house show are Kurt Angle, NWA champion Abyss, AJ Styles, Rhino, The Naturals, NWA Tag Team champions LAX, Austin Starr, Eric Young, Petey Williams, and Sonjay Dutt.
Scheduled for tomorrow's edition of Impact on SpikeTV:
*Kurt Angle vs. Christian Cage in their first one on one match inside a TNA ring.
