With WrestleMania 23 looming, it’s time to get a championship contract in place—specifically, inside a briefcase latched over the ring within Detroit’s Ford Field. The first round of “Money in the Bank” Qualifying Matches begins in Bakersfield tonight, with Edge squaring off against ECW’s Rob Van Dam. Since the Rated-R Superstar and the ECW Original were the respective “Bank” winners of the past two WrestleManias, this encounter ensures that one will not earn a bid into the match at the granddaddy of them all. Who will be the first to cash out?

I really hope Edge doesn't get in this match. I think he could make it 10 times more amazing, yeah, but I'd rather see Edge vs. Orton, 'cause that'd rule all.

Too late...Edge is in it now. He beat RVD last night on Raw.

Edge vs orton would be stupid at this stage anyway. Heel vs heel doesn't work, especially when they're very much hated heels.

How would it not work? They're obviously building the heat between them. Hell, most heel vs. heel feuds I've seen have been more entertaining than the face vs. face feuds they've been tryin to run with lately.

MITB is a good thing. Not sure that Edge should be in it though as he's a bit too big, really. The fact RVD lost suggests that he is, as everyone suspects, leaving WWE.

Hell, most heel vs. heel feuds I've seen have been more entertaining than the face vs. face feuds they've been tryin to run with lately. Because the fans would be dead. Orton cannot DO face, and edge is far too good a heel to go face, so the match wouldn't achieve anything. Besides, I'd rather they stay a team, because god knows the last thing the world needs is another hurried tag formation followed by hurried split.

Them tagging is pointless, 'cause all they're gonna do is burry them so they can further build how they really don't like each other.
I think the match would get quite a reaction, if you ask me. Anytime we've seen Edge or Orton come close to turning on each other, the fans have been into it. Plus, they can put on a helluva match that not even the dumbest of fans wouldn't react over. That's just my opinion, though... I think WWE needs a good heel/heel feud. Especially with those two, because I think they can create some amazing matches.

I must admit I haven't watched any wwe in.......about 3 months actually. So fans have been reacting eh? :S. Well, whoever turns face, you know that the writers will fuck it up.
Shit, it's been that long since i dropped sky >_<.
