- Apparently one of Hulk Hogan’s main objectives in doing the 4/27 match with Jerry Lawler in Memphis is that the footage will be taped for “Hogan Knows Best.” Vince McMahon owns most of Hogan’s matches in the WWE video library.
- The current direction will see The Undertaker have a long-term title reign as World Heavyweight champion. Vince McMahon has approached The Undertaker about working a full-time schedule.
- Ric Flair is happy with the new Four Horseman DVD set, at least what he has seen of it. Flair is still upset, however, about the Wrestlemania snuff, as he realizes his days as an active wrestler are dwindling down.
- The planned Chris Benoit-MVP Wrestlemania finish was changed when it was decided that the United States champion would not be sent to Raw.

- The live gate for the show was $5,380,000.
- The decision to have Donald Trump clothesline Vince McMahon during the Bobby Lashley vs. Umaga battle of the billionaires match was made the day of the event. Steve Austin's stunner on Trump was also made on Wrestlemania Sunday.
- McMahon pitched the idea to Trump to do a follow up leading into the Backlash PPV, but it was turned down.

Rob Van Dam getting the pin on Matt Striker at Wrestlemania 23 was seen as a good gesture towards trying to convince Van Dam in remaining with the company when his contract expires this summer.
- Larry "The Ax" Hennig requested that WWE play the WCW "Rap is Crap" song at the hall of fame induction ceremony for his son Curt Hennig, but they went with the Mr. Perfect theme song instead.
