TNA President Dixie Carter is currently in Los Angeles negotiating with representatives from FOX that would require TNA to produce an additional 2-4 hours of original programming a week and put TNA branded programming on multiple networks under the FOX umbrella. The networks in question are not MyNetwork TV or Fox Sports Net, so you can draw your own conclusions to the networks that TNA is talking with.
The current plan is for the entire "Jackass" crew (including Johnny Knoxville) to wrestle Umaga in some sort of Hardcore Handicapped Match at SummerSlam and the SummerSlam poster circulating with Umaga & the Jacksas crew is indeed real.
Speaking of Umaga, his former handler Armando Alejandro Estrada is still with the company. He was squeezed out of Umaga's storyline due to a number game with the McMahons but is not scheduled to return to Umaga's corner. The rumored plan for Estrada is to be moved to ECW and start a Bobby Heenan Family-esque stable with young heels who would be moved up from developmental and loosley associated with each other and need a mouth piece. Three rumored names include former Deep South Wrestling talents Sonny Siaki, Eric Perez and Ryan O'Reily. Siaki is a former TNA talent and O'Reily briefly teamed with Derrick Nekirk on the short lived ECW house tours last year. Nothing is set in stone yet but ECW Creative Head Dave Lagana is pushing for this and the decision as always, rests with Vince McMahon.
Vince McMahon is expected to return to televison soon but no one is quite sure when. WWE is still a little shell shocked over the Chris Benoit tragedy and hasn't really mapped out anything long term. The company isn't even quite sure what they're going to do with ECW's TV taping tomorrow night.
World Wrestling Entertainment will tape ECW on Sci Fi tonight during their Supershow taping in Dallas, Texas, which will also feature a taped Smackdown and a live edition of Monday Night Raw.
Announced for ECW is ECW champion Johnny Nitro and CM Punk each picking opponents for the other.
