Ric Flair will be a celebrity on a new CBS series called "Secret Talents of the Stars" that will begin airing on April 8th at 10 pm ET. Flair's secret is salsa dancing. Six episodes total are scheduled to run through May 13th.
The show will be every Tuesday night and will go head-to-head with ECW. Other celebrities listed are Ben Stein, Bridget Marquardt, Cindy Margolis, Clint Black, Danny Bonaduce, George Takei, Joe Frazier, Malcolm Jamal-Warner, Marla Maples, Mya, Roy Jones Jr., Sasha Cohen and Sheila E.
The plan after Flair's retirement match Sunday is for him to be off television for a little while. He wants to do more Hollywood work now that his career is winding down.

Many wrestling fans were hopeful that Ric Flair's match against Shawn Michaels would be the final match to close out last night's WrestleMania XXIV. It turns out that Flair was offered the main event spot but turned it down.
There was a pitch made by a creative team member to have the final shot of WrestleMania be a spotlight on Flair's boots and robe. However, Flair strongly disagreed with those sentiments when the idea was brought up to him during a press conference held prior to the WWE Hall of Fame convention.
Flair told reporters that nothing is more important than the title belts and insisted that his match with Michaels did not belong in the main event position.

That right there proves that NOBODY in the business gets more respect than Ric Flair. And nobody deserves it more either.

Exactly. If more main eventers were that humble, they'd be a little more successful right now.

After the debut episode of "Secret Talents of the Stars" scored a dismal 2.9 rating on Tuesday night, CBS canceled the reality series. Ric Flair did not appear on the show, but was scheduled to do a salsa routine on a future episode. As Bobby Heenan would say, "that's not fair to Flair!".
