IT'S WRESTLEMANIA SUNDAY!!

I'm stoked! Work until 4, then it's off to catch this event! This year is probably one of the better Wrestlemania lineups I've seen since I started watching, so I'm hoping for a GREAT event worth the money. Key word, hoping haha. But I figure there's about 4 matches with the potential of greatness... Both title matches, Flair/Michaels, and MitB. Then Umaga and Batista can be a good monster brawl. And JBL/Finlay is just some hardcore filler, but also could be good. DGAF about the battle royale/ECW Championship. Oh, and of course... Mayweather/Big Show. But overall, I can't wait!

Unfortunately, everyone I want to win probably won't. So here's my predictions.

Who I want to win. Who I predict to win.

WWE Championship
Triple H vs. Cena vs. Orton
-Either Trips or Orton... Both are better in every aspect. I have a 2/3rds chance of getting what I want... But this is Cena. He always beats the odds, right? Also on a side note... If Kennedy wins MitB there's a chance he'll cash that in!

World Heavyweight Championship
Edge vs. Undertaker
-I refuse to go against Edge. He's proved his worth as a huge main event player and I want him to be there for a long time. I think he's worthy to end Taker's streak.

Career Threatening Match
Flair vs. Michaels
-I love Flair. But it's time to retire. And I hope this match is an absolute classic, as much as that probably won't happen... I just want Michaels to be the one to retire him. I like how this match has unfolded. I expect there to be lots of tears.


Mayweather vs. Big Show
-I'm not as down on this match as everyone else. Mainly because I like all of the hype and interest that's been drawn into it. It's basically the drawing card for the event. This is pulling in people outside WWE's fans to watch. It might not be the best match, but I think it'll serve its purpose. Of course, Mayweather is gonna win. Special guests rarely ever lose. I'd love for Big Show to crush him, though!

Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Benjamin vs. Morrison vs. Kennedy vs. Jericho vs. Carlito vs. MVP vs. CM Punk
-I think this is definitely going to be awesome. I'm not bothered by whoever wins. I just think Kennedy can get more out of it. You have 3 Champions in this match already... Which I think is kind of crappy that they're not on the line for 'Mania, but whatever. Besides those 3 Champions, you have Carlito, Benjamin, CM Punk and Kennedy... Carlito and Benjamin aren't winning, that's a given. Which leaves Punk and Kennedy, both of which I rate highly. I just think Kennedy really has more to offer right now and needs a bit of a push. CM Punk doesn't really NEED it, because he's still a top player in ECW. So... GO KENNEDY............ Kennedy...

Brand Supremacy
Umaga vs. Batista
-I like Umaga. I don't like Batista. They won't let Batista lose, though. I just don't see that happening. Plus, they're trying to push Smackdown as the "better brand"... Sorry, this match won't prove that. Raw's better. I don't need this "mosnter match" to influence me... Especially with Batista representing that show

Belfast Brawl
Finlay vs. JBL
-Could be a good hardcore match, whatever a Belfast Brawl is. Both have a history of being brawlers. So, hopefully this is pretty good. I overall like Finlay more and I'd like to see him get pushed a bit. JBL doesn't need it. I rate both, I just rate Finlay a little more than JBL in every category except the mic haha.

Battle Royale

-Stupid, stupid, stupid. I'm picking Henry based off his dominance lately. It's just pathetic that they can't come up with a good #1 conteder for the ECW Championship so they just throw together this crap battle royale. I don't care who wins, because it's not on the actualy 'Mania card anyway.

ECW Championship
Chavo vs. Battle Royale winner
-Don't care. I don't want anyone to win. Chavo will probably win, though.

Dive Bunny Bullshit
People who like boobs
-Don't care. Waste of time. Don't get me wrong, they're nice eyecandy... But there's a Women's Champion in this match. And a very good wrestler at that. She should be defending that title against a good opponent. Instead, this horsepoo. Whatever. Go Snoop Dogg!

I agree with you about most of the matches

But...

1-I don't believe that Taker's winning streak should end, I mean he atleast deserves to keep it after all that he's done for the company, this sure fire H.O.F er was promised a long title reign last year, but it was cut short due to injury. I don't want to see it end just as much as you don't want Edge to lose, but I like both guys, both are great World Champs, so its still a toss up, but I'd be more bothered by Takers winning Streak ending. (side note, other than Taker, Cena is the only other one with a winning streak, he's 4-0, on the other hand, Big Show is 1-6 in WM's lol possibly even 1-7)

2-I believe that 3h will win the title, I'm like you anyone of them but Cena.....

3-I believe that Mark Henry will become the ECW champ, who cares........NEXT...

4-I'm really hoping that the Finlay/JBL match lives up the the emotional hype that it's created, and not a let down. I see Finlay walking out the winner.

5-Batista vs. Umaga, as you said has potential. I think that Umaga will come out the winner, and he and Batista will swap places, having Umaga go to SD and Batista to Raw. It will freshen up new feuds for both of them. I've read that the current plan for Umaga was to go to SD and feud with Taker over the summer for the title.

as for the MITB I only see 3 people even being considered for the win...Jericho, Kennedy and MVP. I hope it's Jericho or MVP. But I believe that they are probly going to pick back up where they left off with the McMahon bastard son angle, and have Kennedy be the person and have him feud with 3H.

Like I said, I don't mind who wins. I really like Jericho and MVP as well. Both are Champions already, though. They don't need it. I think this will definitely held Kennedy... They kind of threw away a good opportunity to push him with it last year by switching it over to Edge... Which I'm not complaining about, because it got him the World Heavyweight title ;D Haha. I just see the better overall benefit is Kennedy winning.

The other two (Jericho and MVP) are fine with the titles they have right now, wouldn't be ready for a chance to cash in a MIB opportunity...to me Kennedy is...

Even though I was a big Taker mark back in the 90s...I would LOVE to see Edge get a truly ME defining moment like taking the streak. What I am hoping to see

As has been my tradition for the past five years I'm watching this with my three closest friends, lots of dominos pizza, red bull and just for the escapism. I'm never overly critical, nor do I ever expect much, but I am optimistic of this card.

- Want Cena to lose.
- Hope Taker wins, but hope Edge looks good. Like them both.
- Do not rate Kennedy at all. Want a Jericho win. Won't happen.
- Hope Michaels/Flair is a classic. WHOOOOOO!!![/b]
- Big Show/Mayweather will be good fun.
- Hope JR over-sells dramatic moments on a massive scale.
- Hoping for some good comedy segments. NAE HORNSWOGGLE!!! LITTLE PRICK!!!

I'd like to see Jericho win the MITB match as I'm a Y2J mark and I think he should be given another chance to get the main balt as opposed to holding a mid card one that does nothing for his status.

Point taken. Oh, and as far as the ECW belt goes, I don't give a shite. Chavo, in my mind, spent more time riding Eddie's coat tails and not enough time making himself his own man. That's why he has no charisma. I never liked him save for his being part of Los Guerreros, which serves to prove my point.

I loved Chavo as a wrestler, but not on the mic..he and Rey had some GREAT matches, mainly becuase their styles differ but yet the compliment each other. I'm piss that Kane has been left off the card, and probly won't win the BR either.

Edge has already had some "Me" defining moments, like defeating Mick Foley in an Hardcore match at last year's WM....If Edge does lose, he will definately get a great showing, as with All of the Great wrestlers Taker has defeated in Mania matches have...meaning those who can actually wrestle like (3H, Jake Roberts, Orton, Kane in their first mania match, and Flair)

I think they could have done better with the card. I mean Diva Bunny Bowl....pfft that has no place on the Grandaddy of them all. Especially when you have Champions that aren't even on the show

thought the upper card is solid, they could have done alot better with the openers/mid carders.

man, I'm still pissed that former World Champion, IC champion, Hardcore champion and multi-time Tag champion, Kane is left off the Biggest PPV of them all. He's still a big time player, and deserves to be on the show...hopefully he'll win the BR over Henry...hopfully..but thats wishful thinking.
