-- Renee Payne, the former longtime girlfriend of former WWE, WCW & ECW wrestler Tracy Smothers, has an article on him at TracySmothers.biz. To sum things up, Payne says that Smothers needs some serious help. Here are some things she wrote regarding Smothers:

"I found out yesterday that Tracy has not taken his medicine in close to a month. He is taking borrowed blood pressure pills and what he called nerve pills. He is still getting drunk every Monday and smoking pot daily."

"I know for a fact that he has been having mini strokes since early Christmas morning."

"He has brain damage and post concusssion syndrome to the point where his neurologists told him that he should have gotten out of the ring ten years ago."

"When Tracy is off his medications he is delusional, irrational, and has violent blackouts as well as the seizures and mini strokes."

"Without his medications he will be the next Chris Benoit!"

"I got out because I refuse to wind up like Nancy."



I used to love watching Tracy Smothers on Saturday mornings, when USWA was on television.....Man didn't know pro wrestling could do this to people.

The DOI received the following email from Beau James, a close personal friend of Tracy Smothers. Here it is:

Hey ,
I just read the thing on your site about Tracy. I being one of Tracy's closest friends would like to add a few things.

Renee is trying to get a book deal and cash in on the Benoit tragedy. She emailed me trying to get in touch with Pam Hildebrand wanting stories about Nancy. She is trying to portray herself as a victim.

Here is the email:

Would you happen to have an email for Pam Hildebrand (I can't remember what her last name is now that she's remarried). I'd like to talk to her about something regarding Nancy Benoit.

She also has emailed my wife trying to get her to give information on Tracy.

She has had Tracy arrested 2 times for verbal domestic assault. She has held this over his head for the past 2 1/2 years treating to have him arrested. He has the voice mails of her saved.

He moved out when his probation was up and she could not have anything else did to him. He took one of there two dogs. She is mad about that. Wants the dog back has had all kinds of people get involved in the middle of this crap.

Now she is trying to keep Tracy from getting booked and making a living. Its all a woman's scorn.

Now to cover a few other things. He was staying at my home on Christmas. Did he have a stroke? NO He was out of his blood pressure meds. And had to wait till next day to get them because of Holiday. He is on his meds. Has been.

Is he a raging alcoholic. NO HELL NO. Also would like to add that Tracy still works about 25 towns a month. If he is so out of control how does he make the towns?

The DOI is happy to see the other side of this story and thanks Beau for alerting everyone.
