There has been a rumored top executive closed door meeting between United Japan Wrestling CEO and President Tenzun Fujinami and GroundZero Wrestling 2K1 President Seth Richards last week. The meeting was said to take place while both men were in Munich, Germany. It is believed that the main topic of discussion was the double booking of UJW SuperHeavyweight Champion Lord Leon Corbin on April 30th for GZW2K1's Fallout: Big Bang in Milan, Italy and a special UJW event in Japan. As of press time Lord Corbin is still booked for both events although he has made it clear that he will be attending the GZW2K1 pay-per-view.
Former GZW2K1 Deputy Commissioner and Directorate of UJW, Sincere Hiroshuma, has reportedly renewed his GZW2K1 contract for three years at undisclosed amount rumored to top that of fellow Ring of Honor Icon and current World Heavyweight Champion Sean "Magic" Fiery. The pay raise is rumored to put the Jade Dragon behind Ring of Honor Icon James "Monarch" Corbin as the company's top earners.
There have been whispers in the night concerning the status of former GZW2K1 World Heavyweight Champion 2006 Lord of the Coliseum Jon H. Kellar going into his Fallout: Big Bang match against current Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion Kandi Fortune-Corbin. Sources close to the multi-champion are stating that Lord Kellar has recently failed several points of the Wellness Program, most specifically those concerning the abuse of prescription medicines. No word yet on whether or not the Executive Committee has taken or will take any action.
The appearance of former GZW2K1 World Heavyweight Champion Vyle on Ground Zero Global 360 was totally an unexpected event. As many in the public do not know, Vyle and GZW2K1 parted ways in a rather nasty dispute over royalities and creative control that ended with Vyle and President Richards physically entangled. President Richards has since prohibited Vyle or his likeness to appear with anything associated with the company (thus explaining Vyle's absence from Anniversary Armageddon 2008). It remains to be seen what will become of Vyle's recent appearance.
