At home, but at the same time someone else shouldn't foot the bill for someone else's mess up.
That's the attitude over here anyway. Again using my toddler example, the parent is the one messing up by not watching their kid in a dangerous area.
Our courts decided that punishing parents for sucking at being parents was too ambiguous. Some are looking to change that, but I don't think it'll go so far as to make parents sueable for their kid's mistakes.

I get your point, but unfortunately those are our laws over here. I know it's not right, but thats the way we have it.
I still believe that Nick should be given more than 8 months in Jail.....to teach him a lesson. While also having to pay the medical bills of the mans life that he nearly destroyed.

The only advantage I can see of suing the parent (which is clearly the case here) is that they tend to have more money.

If he had offered to pay some of the boys bills, I don't think they'd be suing him......but then again, he does have alot of money, so who knows....

Good points, but implying there was only one unflattering picture him as opposed to him looking like he was hit in the face with a shovel was my good deed for the day.
