It's been leaked, folks! A very reliable source informs us that "The God of Pain" Bane will be going up against the formidable Lord Seth Raide at Heatwave V, in what will be the final (and probably must brutal) match of Bane's career. But wait... Isn't Lord Raide banned from appearing on GZW2K1 broadcasts? And he sure as heck ain't contracted to HKWF, after being fired by Fox Giovanni. So what exactly is the story here?
Well, HKWF's President John Profit, and GZW2K1's President Seth Richards, were both quick to squash the rumours of Lord Seth Raide appearing at Heatwave V. "No chance," was all Mr. Richards had to say on the matter.
Should Bane/Raide go ahead, then it would certainly be one of the most explosive encounters of the year. Bane's emotions are sure to run high in his final match, whilst Lord Seth Raide's blood will be as ice cool as ever. Both men are unlikely to be popular with the Hong Kong crowd, and John Profit (who has a storied, conflicting history with both men), is sure to never be too far away with his HKWF cronies waiting in the wings.
