-- The Friday before Backlash, Vince McMahon made the call to strip the Undertaker of the World Heavyweight Championship at the next week's SmackDown taping. The reason for the change is that it is believed that Edge works better as a champion than a challenger and Taker as a champion only works when he has a great challenger. Taker defending against Edge isn't much of a PPV money match and Undertaker vs. Batista has been done time and time again. A while ago, there was talk of Big Daddy V entering a big title feud with Taker, but that appears to be off the cards.

I could go for either being the champ, but I'd rather see Taker lol....
I guess that means Edge will be regaining the Championship, and I'm guessing the story that will be used is that Taker can't defeat Edge without using that choke hold.
once this feud is finished, I don't really see anyone else on SD that these two can feud with, except Show or MVP......Batista, I hope not....they need to move him to Raw and move someone else to SD just to freshen things up a bit.....

also, there was talk of sending Umaga to SD to feud with Taker, I hope that happens, because they won't seem to give him anymore WWE title matches on Raw.
