As the time draws near for yet another instalment of the annual Hong Kong Massacre show, the people can only wonder what is in store for Heatwave V. It was this time last year we witnessed:
Heatwave IV was a hell of a night and naturally, there’s a lot riding on the expectations of this year’s edition. So what have those of GroundZero Global been doing right before the show is scheduled to go on the air outside of training? Well, some have done nothing at all but is that a bad thing next to splashing around at the Kowloon pools or dinner dates that end badly, even going to the movies taking some people’s fancy? The Eye didn’t need to get you pics of that seeing that THE Camera caught eye of all those events, but it did catch something you never thought you’d see…
We all know that Magic is a very private person and has a few other hobbies outside of his career but whoever would have thought his love for learning to play guitar would serve as a way for a second financial income? No…he hasn’t started his own band, The Forsaken One was seen busking in the great outdoors of Kowloon Park. One passerby even thought he looked as if he was playing for food and threw him a Hong Kong dollar. Thoughts on the back of a postcard please.
- Zachary Sharp lost the GZW World Heavyweight Title to Vernon Vanderbilt.
- Cellblock got arrested yet again.
- Kid Kaos began his year long HKWF Title reign after defeating “Buzzing” Electric Sharpe.
- John Champa began his fraudulent career in GZW.
- Ring of Honor Icon, James "Monarch" Corbin told the world that both Leon Taylor and Tommy Casper were the fruits of his loins.
- Chris Cairns left GroundZero Global after one last opinion.
- Kandi was the one to elude Sean Locke to retain the Intercontinental Championship.
- Trystan Lloyd began gambling.
- The thought of Sean “Magic” Fiery returning to the squared circle was a pipedream.
- Rupert Martin and Benjamin Blake looked like a promising prospect after their debuts.
- Spyral was showing Raze what Extreme actually meant.
- People still remembered who the Price Brothers actually were.
