Nikita Fortune started her wrestling career at the early age of 17 working backstage in the family federation,Southern Wrestling Federation,which was originally a major force in the wrestling scene in the late 70s and early 80s in the areas of Georgia,Alabama,Tennessee and Mississippi.The teenage Nikita was responsible from everything to scheduling transportation to getting lunch to assisting her father in booking along with her twin brother Kenneth.
While attending college at Mercer University and still working the family business,Nikita was offered a position with GroundZero Enterprises.GZE was quickly staking there claim in the wrestling world in the southern regions by buying out independent federations as well their talent.To her father and twin brother's objection,Nikita took the position as talent scout/agent and moved to Japan.(Sidenote:the original GroundZero Wrestling drove SWF out of the southern region and into Texas where it has been for over ten years).
Nikita spent many years in Japan crafting her skill to become a shrewd businesswoman and acquiring a crop of talented wrestlers for GZE.Many of the veterans of Ground Zero Global have crossed paths with Nikita on one level or another,but her rise to acclaimed wrestling fame is when she,along with the late Tate Troublesome,formed Bad Company.Consisting of Union Jack,Pimp Bizkit,Sho "Firefly" Murakame and Troublesome the stable achieved much fame and notoriety within the wrestling world.
Nikita would later marry Troublesome and eventually divorce him.She would get promoted away from the wrestling division of GZE and take a place as the Vice-President of European Operations of GroundZero Enterprises,a position that she still holds to this day.
She has recently returned to her wrestling roots by ousting her younger middle sister Kandi as Director of All Wrestling Operations of GZW2K1 and taking her place amongst the Powers Three.Nikita is bent on total control of the company that her ex-husband was President of before his untimely death.
Ousted from GZW2K1 in the year 2003 by her alive ex-husband Tate "Troublesome" Edmonson,Nikita has been promoted to GZE Junior President of European Operations giving her even more tremendous power in the business world that is GroundZero Enterprises.
During a lackluster ratings time during the early months of 2007, Nikita was asked to return to her onscreen role of Strife. She has once again set into motion the schemes to give her absolute power over GZW2K1. It was during her time away she was promoted to GZE Senior President of European Operations.
