"Tear It Up" by Young Wun began to play causing the crowd to cheer loudly as James Tanner made his way down the ramp towards the ring. He gave a couple of high fives to the fans before sliding into the ring and calling for a mic.
He started off by first saying that Nevin Kash lived up to his nickname 'Big Lazy' seeing as how he hasn't been seen on television since signing. He continued on by saying that a just a few moments Nevin Kash would have a reason to be lazy because he would be nursing his wounds.
He than quickly turned his attention to his opponent at Crimson by saying that Edwin was nothing and had no chance what so ever of getting past him in the tournament. He stated that Edwin would quickly be on the receiving end of a long losing streak if he didn't straighten himself up in a hurry.
James informed him to be ready for the upcoming match because in a couple of days he would find out that he meant every word he had said.
James stayed in the ring and awaited his opponent.
James Tanner Vs “Big Lazy” Nevin Kash
The man formerly known as Desecrator dominated this match, Dean was more interested in Tanners wife throughout the whole match, but seemed to get confused as to whether it was Shannon or Nicole his wife actually was… at one point he though Tanner was a bigamist. Tanner however showed off his athletic ability in this match which was a high tempo match and ended after Tanner hit his finisher the “Fifth Dimension” (a powerbomb into a facebuster) referee MgHerby was left to make the inevitable three count.
Winner via Pinfall James Tanner

Edwin MacPhisto Vs The Bilston Brawler
The GZW newbie look hungry for success in his first ever appearance on Travesty, and after completely dominating the match MacPhisto hit “Fashion Statement” (a Tiger suplex) and made a cover, but broke it off. Will said how MacPhisto was disappointed with his performance in the Heavyweight title tournament and was here tonight to prove his point. The Bilston Brawler rallied for a short while after that, but when had Edwin in a headlock a quick lapse in his concentration allowed MacPhisto to hit an Olympic Slam (a la Kurt Angle) and get the three count.

The theme to "Rocky" blared and Tonya Glory strolled to the ring. The only current active female wrestler in GZW2K1 was dressed in her wrestling garb although she wasn't booked for the show. Getting into the ring Glory commenced to berate the current management for the state of wrestling most importantly the lack of female wrestlers. She said the death of the Women's Division last year was not due to the lack of competitors or fan interest but GZW2K1's lack of media push. Glory said that now that she has been given the chance at last Crimson in the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament and now in the W.C.E.K. Television Championship Memorial Tournament to spotlight women wrestlers she would see it through to the end that a female holds a title that is not gender specific. She tore into the "Living Legend" Pimp Bizkit and his fluke win against her last week in the World Heavyweight tourney. She demanded that if Pimp was a real man he would give her a rematch and not have any of his goons help him win a match. The longtime developmental valet and Trouble Trax trainer apologized for not showing up on GZW2K1 Television after the loss but she was so distraught that she just had to escape for a few days. Now that she has returned Glory said she was ready for whomever Commissioner Devotion and the Booking Committee was placing against her in the first round of the W.C.E.K. TV tourney because by the end of the that night she was going to be the victor.
“Lone Gunman” John Taylor Vs “Ragin’ Shotgun” Adam Cage
The match started at first with an electric pace, and Cage getting the upper-hand from the off, Cage hit series of high flying moves, to begin with, however as the match wore on Cage started to become increasingly tired, from the high flying moves, and Taylor began to take advantage of this. Dean mentioned how both of them are former Light-Heavyweight Champions. Gunman began to do what he does best, and control the match with his technical abilities, and applying various submission maneuvers. Cage battled back, and looked to have got the win after hitting a superkick but the former HKWF hitman managed to kick out at the last second. The “Ragin Shotgun” signaled it was over, and went for a powerbomb, but Gunman countered and hit a sunset flip, and moved into position for the Silencer. Adam Cage tried to fight out, but was stuck in the middle of the ring and left with no choice but to tap out.
