"The God of Pain" Bane is said to be dismayed by the fact creative have seen fit to limit his mic-time in favour of pushing him as a "silent, unstoppable force." Known more in recent years for his fun-loving, bizarre persona and being a strong fan favourite, Bane is said to struggle with playing the villain, which was perhaps a large part of the reason as to why he was paired up with natural heel, BDR. The two have been getting over well, but friends of the Banester say he is beginning to feel stifled in his role, feeling as if his character has 'devolved.'
There has already been talk of turning Bane face, but this likely won't happen for quite a while yet, as his feud with Eva Corbin is a good money-spinner for GroundZero at this current time. The 'heel' Bane has always received an extremely favourable response from GZW2K1 creative, where as the 'fun-loving' side of the character is said to have no real support from anyone other than the Banester himself. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out in coming months.
