Injured GZW2K1 Globalstar Lord Deacon Bane is said to have signed a two month extension to his current contract (which would have expired tonight), in the hopes that he will be fit and cleared to wrestle again at some point between now and the end of February. His status will depend very much upon surgery which he is due to undergo this coming January 6th.
Bane re-injured his back when falling out of the ring during his elimination from the Brian Aas Memorial Battle Royale back in October.
It's thought that plans for Bane currently vary. Health permitting, the creative team were hoping to have him continue his heel run, or turn face and tag with his sister, Cara Caprice.
It should also be noted that Bane's son, Quarrie-Naughton Caprice, is said to be set for a spot on the main roster in the coming months.
