Copy & paste sites are reporting that at tonight's Impact tapings, the TNA Global Title has been renamed the TNA Television Championship.
...hope they go the traditional TV Title route...defend it often and give matches 10 or 15 minute time limits....

According to prowrestling.net, there are plans to tape a special edition of TNA Impact the night after the Hardcore Justice PPV.
Essentially, the idea is that it will be a "free PPV" event. The working title is "The Whole Fn' Show" and all the matches will be PPV-quality with no storylines/skits.
At this point, the Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn main event for Hardcore Justice is scheduled to be a non-title match.

In a private interview with Figure Four Weekly reader Jared Silberkleit, Tommy Dreamer talked about he actually didn't hate WWE's direction of the ECW product. Dreamer liked how WWE's ECW gave new stars a chance to shine and in that regard it was similar to the old ECW. Dreamer didn't mind toning down his hardcore style because "times have changed and things are different now."
"Not once during my conversation with him did he express any frustration with Vince McMahon or WWE," according to Silberkleit.

- "EV2.0" or "Extreme Version 2.0" will be the new name for TNA's version of ECW. The name was an Eric Bischoff idea. Apparently, Tommy Dreamer tried to get fans to chant the new name at the TNA Impact taping on Monday night but things didn't work out too well. The idea is that TNA doesn't want fans chanting the "ECW" initials in case WWE decides to take legal action against them.

That's a dumb name. They should just say that they're going by the name "Extremely Careful Wrestling"
