Entrance:
The arena suddenly goes pitch black for a while. Silence sinks in, except for the faint cheering or booing of the fans as they await the arrival of the former GZG Unified Champion. Then, “THE DOWNFALL” appears on the screen, which slowly fades out as the signature poison skull logo of Lord Seth Raide slams into the screen. While this is going on, a very soothing version of his theme song, taken from the very ending of “Parabol” by Tool, plays on the PA as the following lyrics are sung softly…
“…This body makes me feel eternal. All this pain is an illusion…”
And that very smoothly transitions into the immediate impact of Tool's second song, "Parabola", sending waves of the energetic bass through the park, followed by the electric guitar intro. The fans of Hong Kong go absolutely CRAZY with boos, mixed with the rabid cheering of loyal fans. The 2005 Lord of the Coliseum, Seth Raide, comes out from the curtains just as the soothing vocals of Maynard James Keenan kick into the song and the fans announce their opinion even louder than before. Lord Raide is dressed in a black “GZW FUCKING Sucks!” hoodie, black Dickie shorts, and a pair of black sneakers with his signature poison skull imprinted in the design made especially for him. While he stands at the top of the rampway, he reaches into his pocket to pull out a pack of cigarettes and his signature Zippo lighter. He pulls a cigarette out of the box and flips the Zippo top, igniting a flame as he brings the cigarette to his mouth. Seth shoves his pack of cigs and the Zippo lighter back into his pocket and takes a big drag. As he makes his way down to the ring he ignores the fans completely. His focus is set solely on the ring, which he arrives at once traveling down the rampway.
Samson: ALL HAIL LORD SETH RAIDE!!!
Crumb: Settle down, Joshua!
Samson: I can't help myself... I F*CKING LOVE THIS GUY!!!
Raide stares up into the ring for a moment before climbing slowly up onto the apron, flicking the ashes off the end of his cigarette and letting the smoke billow into the air. He takes a couple of steps down the apron before stepping between the ropes and into the ring. Once inside he stares out into the sea of fans, then slowly looks up into the air and takes a gigantic drag of his cigarette before letting a big cloud of smoke swell out of his mouth and nose. On a final act, he raises two middle fingers high into the air and starts flipping off the fans. This, however, excites them even more as they flip him right back off, joining in on his festivities. He walks to the corner nearest the ring announcer where he lazily leans inside.
Appearance:
-In the winter or cooler environments he'll wear dark denim blue, black or gray colored jeans and his usual black hoodie. Usually wears personalized black "work boots" with a grungy design and his poison skull logo imprinted in them.
-In warmer environments he'll wear black or gray Dickie shorts, a dark colored t-shirt (promotional for himself, HKWF, or "GZW FUCKING SUCKS!", or anything with an Affliction style to it), and the same "work boots".
-He's usually bald but with a little stubble on top. Facial hair is never lacking as he always has his usual 5 o'clock shadow or sometimes lets it grow out to a smaller scruffy beard.
-One of his most notable facial features... Those cold, gray eyes that seem to stare into your soul and reveal no sympathy.
Tattoos:
He's quite tatted up as well with both of his sleeves marked in ink, random designs that he came up with himself. Other tats that are rarely seen as they're always hidden under a shirt are:
-The lyrics to his theme song scrolled out along both sides of his ribs... The right side reading "this body holding me, be my reminder here that I am not alone" and the left side reading "this body holding me, feeling eternal all this pain is an illusion".
-His signature poison skull logo is on the back of his left shoulder.
-On the back of his right shoulder is an acoustic Gibson guitar wrapped in barbwire (most people don't know he plays guitar and sings).
-A spinal tattoo which depicts a string of barbwire ripping his flesh away to reveal his spinal skeleton. A pretty gory looking tat.
-A bloody arrow stabbing into the left side of his chest right where his heart is (coming right out of the scar which he got from when he was shot with an arrow and "died" 3 times in the span of a day)
-3 claw marks on the right side of his chest signifying the number of times he was proclaimed dead.
Ring Attire:
It varies from the seasons but most of the time he dresses in black or dark gray Dickie shorts, a left knee brace, black elbow pads with the poison skull on them, black leather boots, and a black promotional t-shirt (Either his own, HKWF, or the "GZW FUCKING SUCKS!" one). During the winter, he will come down to the ring in a black hoodie, but takes it off to wrestle in his more comfortable t-shirt undertneath.
Strengths:
A hardcore god in his younger years, but over the past few years has become a great general wrestler, including various submissions into his arsenal. He tends to use very painful submission holds and can quickly end a match with one of his inovated moves. He loves to hear his opponents scream in pain or see them bleed, which will get him wanting more. He will not slack off in the ring to taunt, although he's very aggressive and violent. Hardcore or stipulated matches are his favorites, but has come to learn how to be a professional wrestler as well. He's always trying to get inside the opponent's head and often times is very vocal with them, be it with obvious yelling or secretive whispering. He'll never give up on the oppurtuntiy to take advantage of other's weaknesses, either. Basically, the man has no sympathy.
Weaknesses:
Although very vicious, he sometimes will get himself disqualified, or go to the brink of disqualification. He doesn't care for anyone, even the refs, and has no problem knocking them on their asses. Sometimes when he uses weapons they get turned on him. Also, being a very angry person he has a short fuse and could get too excited if an opponent makes a fool out of him. Of course, this could be used in favor of Raide as he will be more intense and ready to snap someone's neck in two. His biggest weakness is tag team matches. He despises having to rely on another man (aside from Tyler Primus who has proved his loyalty) and will occassionally turn on them. He even paralyzed his own tag team champion partner in HKWF and wrestled by himself to defend the titles. Lastly, his psychological edge might ignite something in the opponent and give them more motivation to beat him.
