Biography
All-Star was, for a brief period in the mid 1970's considered one of the top rising talents in the Pacific Northwest. The peak of his career came in 1976 when he pinned the World Heavyweight champion (as recognized by his promotion) at an event in Portland. However, due to a controversial conclusion, the match was restarted and ended in a time limit draw. Some would later claim that All-Star had in fact won the title and was World Heavyweight Champion, while others contend the first pinfall never counted. At any rate All-Star lost cleanly the next night and the controversy was largely forgotten by all but the most dedicated wrestling trivia fans. From that point on, All-Star's career entered a long slow decline. All-Star was unable to catch on to the groundswell of mainstream wrestling popularty of the 1980's, yet was also unable to build up a loyal following amongst the diehard fans. All-Star spent his days moving from territory to territory, all the while unable to find a niche.
Finally in the late nineties Nathaniel Davis, (who had made his professional debut in a loss to All-Star at the height of his popularity) came into some power in Insane Gods of Wrestling, and he offered All-Star a contract. All-Star finally had that opportunity that had always elluded him, steady work, a guaranteed contract, and national television exposure. Unfortunately by this point, All-Star's physical skills had degraded to the point that he has been unable to collect more than a handful of wins in his lengthy Ground Zero Global career. And yet Captain All-Star keeps trying, keeps striving, and keeps striving for that recognition he feels he so richly deserves. Recognition as one of the greatest wrestlers in the World.
